Hi, Anyone know what the specific requirements for recreating a slime island are, for slimes to spawn?
Is there a specific height requirement.
Slime water size/depth?
Slime dirt/grass width/height for the island?
Thanks.
Why isn't this smeltery working?
Another possibility is that the controller needs to be on the bottom row (I have no idea if this is the case, but its worth a try)
Idea for tool, no one asked for (I think)... Shears..............
On another note, I cannot seem to craft a firey bowstring in Tinker's, dunno if this is a NATURA thing or if it's here, so I posted it here since no one from there has responded... was this taken out or is this a bug?

It's a Natura thing, so you'll need Natura. I doubt compatibility with Natura would be taken out, what with 1.10 updates for Therm Ex and Natura already being out, plus Natura being developed by the original creator of TiCon.

Controller needs to be facing away. The row doesn't matter as long as there's a tank on the same row IIRC.
We are having an issue with Tinker's tools healing themselves over time and I'm curious if one of the tinker addon's we are using is causing it or just bugging out. Basically looking for some collective knowledge if people have seen this before. This is with the 1.10.2 version, BTW.
Addons we are running are:
Tinkers' Tool Leveling
Tinkers' Addons
More Chickens
I should say that none of the tools that are repairing themselves have modifiers that repair...these are just simple starter flint and stone tools repairing over time.
Does anyone know how to solve the following (on 1.10.2):
I have a pack with Tinkers, Immersive engineering, forestry and Chisel. No other ore-generating mods.
When I cast brass, copper etc. in a basin it changes into an invisible block once cooled, and when I take it out of the basin it changes into the brass/copper/tin/etc 'warning stripes' block from chisel and not in the 'normal' block-form.
I somehow find it hard to believe that you are using starter tools made 100% out of stone and flint. A 100% stone tool has like, 5 durability, and I really don't think flint is any better.
Are you sure you don't have a wooden tool rod on those things?
it is specifically optifine hdud6 that has the graphical glitch... i took optifine away and it was fine... i loaded in optifine hdud4 and it was fine... i could not use optifine hdud7 however because it crashes my game
Scythe does almost everything shears do. Even then, the vanilla shears already does its purposes very well.
Before you post something on the Tinkers' Construct thread... please read this.
If you have a crash log, READ it before posting it (and if you do, use spoilers). Some stuff should be obvious to where it comes from. Try reproducing the same thing with only Tinkers' Construct or Mantle on vanilla Forge (please do make sure that you're using the latest TiC and Mantle versions). If it still does happen, report it to the issue tracker (Yes, you have to sign up... but it's not that hard).
Last but not least, please do not ask for unsupported versions (1.7.10, 1.8.9) or ask for non-existent ones (1.8)!
Yeah, but being able to have unbreakable on a set or even different materials would be nice

Believe what you will...I never said they were good tools...this is a testing environment for a mod pack. For whatever it's worth, I think one of the tools has a bone handle.
Check the tools, make sure no wooden tool rods in the tools. If there aren't any, then there's a glitch, if there are, there's your regen. Ecological trait on wooden tool rods repairs tools slowly.

No i have not as i dont know how to notify sph4x nor do i know who they are lol. i would also like to add that i am putting up with the graphic glitch in hdud6 because i get better frames with it then hdud4.. plus dynamic lighting, i love dynamic lighting. but ya hdud7 is un usable for me crashes game upon loading.
Okay, that thing where if you put a tool in the offhand, it kicks in to dig things that it's the right tool for if the mainhand isn't is fun, but it's not perfect.
Mattock in offhand, pick in mainhand, dirt goes offhand, stone stays mainhand, gravel does NOT go offhand when the shovel function of the mattock would be an improvement, wouldn't it?
(Or is it even smarter then I think it is, and the little bit of redstone on my pickaxe actually makes it faster then the "correct" tool?)
I used NEI/JEI to look up and see if Natura and the issue I'm having with Fiery Bowstring not being made and the TiC and/or Natura version is not even present... The Flame String is in Natura but there's no Bowstring version... was that a thing added here in TiC or was that still a Natura added thing?
