i tried that and it didnt work mabe i didnt use the right one whould it be a potion of nightvision ?

edit... i just retried with both a 3m and 8m night vision potions and neither work so what else could it be ?

Had one of those in-bed epiphany moments last night, and I realized I had forgotten the golden carrot was still required, even though the potion is there. so the updated recipe is 3m NV(brewed)+flint/steel+gCarrot+tgGoggles. Sorry

If you want to you can edit the texture in your file or use a texture pack.

I can't seem to get nightvision on my goggles either. I place the goggles, flint & steel, nightvision potion, and golden carrot in and it won't work.

Have you added information to the tinkering guides for all the missing/added stuff? Last time I looked there was no information about the armor side of this mod in these books.

sadly TherminatorX i tried it again and even compairing it to the pic and it still doesnt work .... im giving up on modding the goggles i just dont know if its bugged or what... i have the newest version for 1.7.10 and its just not working everything else works for mods just not for the goggles

other then that what do we do about repairing the gear ? can i repair it with iron or something or leather ? or do they just break ...

You forgot to mention this single line that proves that this guy didn't bother reading the log whatsoever:

When i delete optifine from my mods folder it keeps having same crash!

The optifine thing has long since been fixed, and is just a bit of leftover code. Your crash is caused by the game trying to assign a block to an id already filled by the exact same mod. Delete your tinker's construct configs and run the game again to regenerate them.
