Btw, just figured out that girlfriends and boyfriends from Orespawn can hold TiCon weapons (broadswords, longswords, rapiers and cutlasses, as well as cleavers). Awesome, now I can deck out my girlfriend with an awesome TiCon sword and kill some bosses. Wish I could make custom TiCon armor for them to wear.

Why did you make the most recent version of TinkersConstruct 1.7.10 using a version of forge that isn't recommended? The latest "recommended" version of forge doesn't work with your mod.
I'm running into an issue repairing a hammer that has a capacitor on it. I accidentally used it all the way down to broken and now can't repair it. The capacitor charged to full, but it's still broken and mining slowly. Any ideas? I reinstalled 1.8.3b, no change.

Maybe try adding a modifier using a nether story, notch apple, or block of gold + diamond then add moss. Once the moss FULLY repairs the tool it will stop saying broken.
I thought of that, but the idea of having a capacitor is so you don't need moss, and wasting the extra modifier would be unfortunate. I'll probably just creative the components back in and rebuild it since it seems to be a bug or poorly designed mechanic, but I don't like cheating stuff in like that and I don't have my ender quarry up yet to easily recover the resources.

I'm trying to make a fast excavator with stonebound. From what I've read, ardite should give me stonebound II, but from this screenshot it looks like it's only going to give me stonebound I. Is this just a visual glitch? Also, has the exploit that allows stonebound to work with the flux modifier been patched? I've seen inconsistent reports on that, and if it has been patched I'm just going to skip the ardite and use thaumium for an extra modifier. (I'm using the Etho pack, if that helps)

Hey guys. So... I've run into a little problem when I updated to the latest version of TiC. As soon as I logged back into minecraft, all of my TiC swords became invisible. As seen in the picture I've attached below, the sword is still in my inventory, however the image has disappeared. Can anyone help?
I know it's a long shot asking for help here, but I have an extremely frustrating situation right now. It's regarding the Tinkers' Mechworks addon, which yes I know is separate, but I figure this is the more populated thread and I hope many of you use Mechworks as well.
What's happening is a "wireless" XOR gate that I painstakingly set up to turn a drawbridge on or off from two separate locations, is suddenly not working at all. The signal buses and terminals are all set up correctly as far as I can see.
The thing is, it was working perfectly. I didn't add or change anything, and I'm playing single player so no one messed with my setup. It just suddenly will not work. I can manually get the drawbridge to extend and retract by toggling a lever on the block, but my lever -> terminal -> bus -> terminal -> XOR gate -> terminal -> bus -> terminal on drawbridge block, is simply not working.
Edit: I scrapped the Mechworks wiring and used redstone paste instead, working fine.
1.7.10 is total cake , nocakeing any caked recipe work , tried to make el steel now furnace kick coal out , srsly all mods that was upraded to 1.7.10 is stink cake
just delete this caking mod and install 1.6.4 they work at least or make your own mod without caking yourself all day and night because there is some caked recipe that dont caked work

The latest may not work, but version 1.8.3b works just fine with the recommended forge.

Which alloys? TiC only adds 3, anything else you want to see might not have NEI integration built in.

Do you happen to have the Aether II installed? This is typically the reason behind the infinite heart glitch from what I've seen.
