i have a idea for evolving inkay on the 3ds you need to hold it upside down while inkay is leveled up to lv30 for it to evolve, on minecraft you would need to place a name tag with dinnerbone on one inkay for making it upside down and when you level up it to level 30 it would evolve and the name dinnerbone would disappear this is a little pointless but it would look good

unfortunately, it seems that doesn't invert the pokemob model, I guess it is something vanilla does elsewhere in rendering, and my rendering doesn't call that method.

The next update will have the ability for players to create secret bases with secret power (currently requires you to be very luckly and find a merchant/trainer who sells the tm, as I have no model for Audino, who is only one who learns it naturally)
The secret bases are their own seperate dimensions, which start out as an empty world, with you spawning on a small stone platform. You can leave it via "/pokebase exit" or by using secret power to make an exit.
When secret power is used, it will make a block that looks exactly like chiseled stone, which when right clicked, will transport the player to the base.
Secret base dimensions have a worldborder of 32, but I may add some way to expand that per base later, not sure how I want the player to be able to expand their border though.

About the stone platform, could the material of said platform be changed depending on which biome we use secret power? like grass for plains, forests, jungle and such, stone for mountanious biomes, hardened clay for mesa, snowy grass (or ice/snow blocks) for cold weathers, sand/sandstone for deserts, water/prismarine for oceans, cobblestone if in a village, netherrack for the nether, endstone/end bricks for the end, and so on. And maybe it can be expanded by determining the number of legendaries/pokemon in the pokedex? Like, the legendaries that have no prior requirements to catch could expand the base less than the ones that do have requirements, like 2-4 blocks for non-requirement ones and 3-6 for pre-requirement ones, or for every percent completed on the pokedex, the base would increase for 3-5 blocks or something like that

the platform itself is mainly there as a thing to stop you falling out of world when you enter (it is 5x5, about as small as I could make it and not risk players falling off too much), it is otherwise a completely blank world to make whatever base you want in, the idea is that it gives you a completely blank world to start in, there is a command "/pokebase reset" which will reset the entrance platform, incase you mess it up somehow
Those do sound like good ideas for when to expand the world border of the base, I will consider them.
Currently the secret bases are also blacklisted for pokemob spawning, but I might consider having some way to make a "pokemob attractor" or something, which could make pokemobs based on the biome your entrance is in spawn near the entrance to your base (on the inside of the base), and maybe for large bases, allow for multiple entrances (so far as more than some distance away on the inside)

Honestly, if you were going to add a feature like this, I would have preferred it to be tied to some of the "space-time" legendaries, instead of just secret power... Example, the way Cyrus wanted to create a new world in DPPt, except without destroying the overworld like he was going to.

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.

That will probably be done for the larger dimensions to be added for them in pokecube legends, This is just a very small one for making a secret base in.

Pokecube Legends was another pokecube mod planned by one of the other pokecube devs, but he went on a 6 month break starting in May, so he should be back around november or december.

This new dimension sounds like a swell feature, however, what does it have to do with Pokémon or Minecraft?
There are some other mods that add this feature in a way (Compact Machines, Dimensional Doors and Thaumic Horizons), but these have a mod theme that evolves around (personal) pocket dimensions (except TH).
I think it's cool that you'd go through the effort of adding something like this, but I'd just like to know why.
Another question: Months ago, I have discussed some features with you that would/might make PokéCube interact more with vanilla Minecraft.
I wonder which of these have been implemented, which are still on your todo list and which ended up being heedlessly trashed ( ).

As mentioned by jochuan, secret bases are a feature from the Gen 3 Pokémon games (also in the remakes) It would have been rather difficult to try to code in a method for secret power to hollow out caves in trees, so I decided to go for the pocket dimension feature instead, as it would be much easier to implement.
So far, I have been working on some of the things, for example, more moves now have out of battle effects (almost any move can be used out of battle now, just most don't do anything), and pokemobs can gather and store stuff in chests now, I still haven't got any interactions with things like furnaces done, but the code I wrote for more general out of battle effects should allow me to deal with them as well now.
If you can find the list from earlier, please link or post it as an issue on github, then I will be less likely to lose it. My todo list keeps getting bugs put on it to the top, so other things get forgotten about.

This happened to me a while ago, I had the pokecube setting that allows pokemobs to damage the terrain with explosion, etc, and THIS is what happened: (screenshots in attachments). I mean, I know exposion/self destruct are kind of powerful, but the blast radius of this, is just ridiculous, and I didn't do anything to the poor weezing/koffing that did it and it kind of made my computer freeze from the seer lag that it caused. Can this blast radius be configurable? I know that this may be useful for mining and stuff, but its pretty obvious that this is not the case. Since then, I haven't put a single step into the nether again.

I think the blast radius scales based on the poke using the move. There really should be a hard cap though, to prevent things like this.

I don't want to even imagine how big this would be if I was deeper into the nether, I think the spawn level was around 30-40. That also happened but with a freshly evolved electrode; it made a pretty big hole were I was battling a trainer, sadly, I didn't take any screenshots. Also, look how cool does two backpacks (pokecubes and expandable backpacks) appear combined.

I will add a config to tweak blast radius, it does scale with the pokemob's stats, the reason why this one is so large, is that netherrack has practically zero blast resistance, if it was all made of stone (ie on overworld for example), the blast would have been much, much smaller.
Edit: Added blastStrength config for next update, will be able to use it to scale how big pokemob booms get.

The mega Garchomp is in error in the name and the coaches are invisible to min, at first I thought it was my save, but created another and they were invisible.
I created some legendary Pokémon and made a model for the machine fossil if you want to use:

Thanks, I will look into it shortly, I think I might try to get around to adding some of the models this weekend.
