If I'm breeding tamed Pokemon for their drops (Ralts for Ender Pearls). Is there a way that I can then kill those Pokes in order to get the drops? If not, is there another way I can breed Pokemon for drops?
Thanks!
just stay far away from the egg so when it hatches it will be wild so you can kill it
Do you have any tips for the actual breeding itself? Can I initiate it, or does it only happen naturally when left to their own devices?
Make sure there are not too many other pokemobs around (use repels to stop wild ones spawning nearby).
You can initiate it by right clicking them with a golden apple, I do plan eventually to come up with some cheaper way to get them breeding faster, maybe feeding them something else to lower the breeding cooldown.
I will see about making it so tame mobs ignore the density rules (currently they don't breed if too many nearby to stop population explosions), as well as make eggs placed by players ignore the density rules as well (Eggs don't hatch for the same reason as the breeding, I can probably remove that limitation entirelty now that the breeding limitation works properl)
To get the mobs, install the resource pack on the github, or use the Pokécube Mobs mod below.

Hmm, I will see if I can use a keybinding for the going down, I didn't use a keybinding as I didn't want to use up too many of them, I guess I can try make one that starts unmapped, but when mapped replaces ctrl as doing down. I will see about getting that into the version I plan to release in the next couple of days.
For now my workaround is to just recall the pokemob when its flying over water so I just basically jump off land in the water. Descending is super slow and I have to reach over to the keyboard to hold the CTRL button. No complaints, if you can fix it at some point that'd be super.

Latest version allows assigning a hotkey to going down (if hotkey is blank, then ctrl works, otherwise it used hotkey). Also changes controls a bit, so left/right rotating it instead of moving it. it also allows assigning a hotkey for going up, if that one is blank, space works.

How would I use a Splicing Device, and how would I get Gym Badges...
Also, when will the Wiki be updated... I rather use a Wiki to look for Recipes, and somethings I would like to know (how to make an Altar) aren't in JEI...
I'm refering to the Bit Bucket and the Wikia... I'm not sure which one is the official one

Gym badges are rarely sold by trainers for emeralds.
Splicing Device has a couple features:
it can be used to make genesect (use the recipe that claims to give a genesect egg, and instead it spawns a wild one on top, after a delay.
it can be used to make mewtwo, similar to genesect.
It can be used to craft a full pokecube with an egg to result in an egg that has the same species as the pokecube used, but all of the details from the egg (such as IVs, nature, etc)
The wikis will be updated whenever someone offers to help update them.

ok, I don't really know much about setting up/maintaining wikis, the BitBucket one was auto-generated by a thing I made, it was mainly done as a testing thing, can you edit the Wikia one? or maybe the one on Github if you know how to use it? https://github.com/Thutmose/Pokecube/wiki
I will be willing to answer any questions/provide any information you need for it, I am just not particularly good at laying the stuff out in a friendly format for wikis.
If you want to discuss this, the best places for me would be either in #Pokecube on irc.esper.net, or at this discord: https://discord.gg/fBHtr

Hey Thutmose, as much as I try to get into this mod I have other things to do, sorry. I'll try to come back at some point, no guarantees.

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.
will you be adding rare candy, potions and other itens?
rare candy has been in for well over a year, potions may be added, but are not that needed, we have berries that heal, and the pokemobs heal naturally when out of battle.

Thutmose, I just want to know... what all has changed since last time I looked at this mod? Has pokeplayer been properly implemented, and has snagging happened yet?

when i open the installed mods in Minecraft there is two "mods" there Pokecube Origin and Pokecube Mystery Dungeon What are those?
Pokecube Origin is inside Pokecube Mobs, and it changes the model used for pikachu line back to the ones originally in pokecube.
Pokecube Mystery Dungeon is a (currently disabled, but still listed there) mod to allow you to turn into a pokemob

I have mostly been doing optimization stuff, I re-did some of the networking stuff, and re-wrote the code for riding pokemobs, snagging and pokeplayer have not been touched recently.

and one question: how to use the new function of pokedex, to which was added in updating these days.
Thanks,
To use the new function, press the blue icon on the pokedex (blue light in upper left corner of the gui)
