Is attack cooldown in the cfg what makes the pokemobs attack so quickly? I'm having difficulty actually catching things because my lil mon kills em too quick. Would setting this higher slow combat down a bit? If not how would I do that?

that will slow down combat, just set it to a bigger number. You can also stop your pokemob attacking by selecting the "0th" move, you can do this by going to the first move and pressing up, or the last move and pressing down.
To get the mobs, install the resource pack on the github, or use the Pokécube Mobs mod below.

Ok. Thanks. Also, not sure if this has been talked about yet, but me and few others have been having issues with the latest update. Pokemobs aren't spawning. I thought it might be Biomes o' Plenty at first, but I removed it and just did plan old vanilla world type with just pokecube and I still can't get anything to spawn. Sorry for all the troubles haha
In fact, the only area in which pokemon will spawn is a crater like area with ruined trees. Looks like a meteor hit or something. I found a rayquaza and a clafairy and some solrock but thats it.

That has been fixed in the version I just uploaded, I had accidentally messed up the sub-biome system, so everything was counting as "sky" or "none"
Edit: meteors would still make their sub-biome properly, hence that working.

Have the spawns changed since the 1.8.9 version? I run across one or two pokemon every once in a while, but no flying. I've been walking a good bit and seen maybe 5 in a forest.

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.
Pokeplayer seems extremely broken atm. For the time being, I'm glad it's creative only, because it's nothing but a big fat heap of bugs right now. XD Once it is more stable I'd like it to be available in survival though. Perhaps with the plate being an unbreakable block found in certain worldgen?

Im kinda new to this mod (played it on the older days when pavilion was a server host) but how do I disable vanilla mobs so they dont interfere? A creeper and zombie killed me instantly and I lost all my stuff. Also, my pokedex is completely white, but I can see the letters and numbers only. How do I fix this issue? And I installed 4 mods. 3 pokecube mods and thutcore mod, do I need anymore? Thx

I will see about fixing the pokedex thing, it is caused by having a very old graphics card.
For vanilla mobs, you into config/pokecube/pokecube.cfg and set deactivateAnimals and deactivateMonsters to true.

Thutmose, later on, once snagging is in, I had an idea for a "placeholder" method of obtaining legendaries that aren't available in survival yet. That method is a "Hacker" trainer class, that would have a random chance of spawning with one of said legendaries on their team. For balance reasons, these would be low level hackers, so no 999-stats or Sturdy Shedinjas. They might have good IV's though. This would not be a permanent feature, but rather a placeholder, used to allow obtaining of said legends in survival mode until proper methods are introduced.

i made the Channeler, the Youngster and the Supernerd
The SuperNerd have transparent parts and with those skins i made all the trainers that are on the mod i will make others now like the dragon tamer and maybe gym leaders if you want, also when you gonna fix the crash on 1.9.4 ?(it is on the github)
Thutmose, I was looking at the Github, and under Pokeplayer it said "a bunch of tweaks and changes" from 3 hours ago. I also saw that you made some new uploads about an hour ago. Are the damage/death bugs fixed now? If not, what did you work on? Thanks!

pokeplayer related it was mostly other things being refactored, and fixed an issue with the gui for pokemob info.
No problem, it's just that the death/damage bugs are pretty much the only thing stopping me from starting a Pokeplayer ssp right now, most of the other bugs I see with it are small enough to ignore for the purposes of a laid back playthrough. In other news, I'm still working on an example mod to learn Forge, but once I am done with the basic tutorials, I'll need some help figuring out where to go next. If there are any good documents on Forge's functions and classes and such, could you PM me with a link to them so I can do some reading once I'm through with tutorials? Thanks again.
