Curse PremiumIs this with 1.1.7 or the 1.2.0 beta?

Curse PremiumIt's a good thing you didn't ... when I first posted it anyway. Those should be reserved for junk worlds.
I'll take a look at the rails a bit later.

Curse PremiumI think the beta is in good shape now. We're using it on our server now. Just have to add the locking upgrade and I'm good for a release.

Curse PremiumI test coupler tracks with my current 1.2.0 build and they seem to be fine. I'm planning to release an official 1.2.0 build today or tomorrow.

Curse PremiumSeveral key parts of this mod were rewritten. It has gone through a beta period and should be relatively stable, but issues may still appear. I recommend performing a world backup before applying this update just to be safe. If necessary, it should be safe to roll back to 1.1.7, or disable some of the feature in the config (like mod integration or auto input/output).
- NEW: Drawer inventories now support automatic item extraction (hoppers, pipes, etc).
- NEW: Applied Energistics 2 support (via storage bus).
- NEW: Lock upgrade for drawers (see note below).
- NEW: API to interact with drawers (still being finalized -- talk to me if you're interested in using it).
- NEW: Config entries to control item input/output and third party mod integration.
- CHANGE: Network traffic is improved. This is an ongoing area of improvement.
- CHANGE: 'Fast' rendering now renders blocks with full lighting detail.
- CHANGE: 'Fast' rendering is now the default rendering mode (existing mod users not affected).
- FIX: Double-click item entry now works when time is frozen.
- FIX: Cobblestone, stone, and sandstone added to ore dictionary blacklist.
- FIX: Adding AE2 quartz or fluix blocks to a compacting drawer
- FIX: ExU compressed dirt and cobblestone don't get replaced with higher-tier versions when reloading world.
- FIX: Status indicators no longer render on wrong slot.
- LANG: Added French (fr_FR) translation. Thanks Maxdallier.
- LANG: Updated Chinese Simplified (zh_CN) translation. Thanks ViKaleidoscope.
Lock upgrade: The lock upgrade will prevent the drawer's item association from being cleared even if its inventory count drops to 0. There's no visual indication when a drawer has a 0 inventory or if it has a lock upgrade applied (except for a WAILA tooltip). A lock upgrade can be removed by sneak-right-clicking the drawer with an empty hand. A future update will add more general upgrade management and change this behavior.Mods I Develop: Garden Stuff -- Storage Drawers -- Hunger Strike

Curse PremiumSince there isn't universal agreement on what the ore dictionary is for, there may be unintended consequences to this. For example, it was reported earlier that all the different geostrata cobblestone was getting turned into vanilla cobblestone. Report unintended conversions so I can update the blacklist.

Curse PremiumIf you've finished a texture pack, let me know and I'll include it.
On the topic of texture packs, I feel like the current rendering setup with the fixed trim, handle indicators, etc. might be constraining for HD artists. This is one of the mods that I think will be a good candidate for the 1.8 model system. But since I'm not currently thinking about that, is there interest in a "model config" that would let you tweak some of the rendering dimensions or placement?

I'm not sure what the 1.8 model system is. But I was able to make the existing indicators work for my texture pack.
Here is a link to the textures 128x and 64x if you want to post it. Smudge 128x and 64x
Thanks for a great mod, Love it.:D

Curse PremiumI've never used logistics pipes before. Could you post a screenshot of your test setup and explain it a bit? And do you know if they worked correctly in 1.1.7?

Curse PremiumAlright, I fumbled around for a while and got something working. Logistics Pipes is going to be like AE2 -- it's going to require explicit integration. All the major storage mods already have integration baked in. Unlike AE2 though, LP does not provide a clean API, so I'm going to have to write the integration for their mod and submit a PR. It will be up to them to accept that, and then issue a new release.
I will need to make sure my own API is in good, stable order, since they're going to have to take a copy of it. Outlook is at least a couple weeks for this.
I'm surprised the supplier pipe does anything at all. I think it's a bizarre fluke of how the separate input/output/storage slots are exposed, but it will probably get even squirrelier once you've got over 64 items stored. I would avoid using special LP logic until integration is written.

Curse PremiumJABBA 1.2.0 was released the other day, which means dolly support is finally official. Enjoy carting your drawers around.

I'm talking about a drawer with just one slot.
Having a double drawer with the same item in both drawers just feels redundant to me, and doesn't look very good.
Not everyone has a barrel mod. I've played 2 packs now where Storage Drawers is very prominent. If you're only hesitant to do it because you want to avoid stepping on JABBA's toes, you could have it as a config option that defaults to false.
(Also you should add your own drawer mover shhhhh)

I found a bug with Storage Drawers and Extra Utilities transfer pipes. If items are being piped into a drawer, and the contents are fully emptied, any further items piped in will simply vanish. Using a lock seems to prevent this from happening, as does using Buildcraft pipes. This is with Storage Drawers 1.2.0 and Extra Utils 1.2.1.
