Thanks, jaquadro for a great mod.
(.....Well, OK, I recently got my hands on someone's private build of cauldron-1.7.10-1.1286.06.216, but with everything now moving to Forge 1291, that doesn't help me.)
I don't have an established minimum Forge version. You'll have to try it and see

OK, I'll see if it works against 1236 then. With my fingers crossed.
....OK, the good news: It works against 1236.
The bad news: Seems to induce large amounts of lag. I'm not sure I can use it.

It may well be a Cauldron interaction. There are a number of known such glitches. Ars Magica 2 does not work on Cauldron, for example; the enchantment altar always fails to work. Sleeping in a bed doesn't set bed spawn, although it swears it does. Sleeping in a bed DOES reset time-of-day even with other players on, although my understanding is it's not supposed to.

Edit: works perfectly! now if we could get thaumcraft golems smart enough to look into the drawers xD.
although im not sure they have the mental capacity to understand how to open drawers as opposed to opening chests
(Part of the upgrades might be a problem now that I think about it.)

What does a drawer controller do? It lets you treat an entire bank of connected drawers as a single unit. It serves two functions:
- A deposit-only interactive block. Right-click an item on the controller to have it sorted into one of the attached drawer blocks, if there is a drawer with a compatible item. Double right-click on the controller and your entire inventory will (try to) be dumped into compatible drawers.
- A single attach point for pipes, storage buses, etc. If you have 20 drawers all connected to a drawer controller, and a storage bus on the back of the controller, then an ME terminal will let you see and interact with the contents of all 20 drawers. If you're not a WAILA user, this is a sane way to actually check the item counts.
The controller will only search for drawers within 12 blocks (as measured by connections).
Based on feedback, I may put out a normal release this weekend, possibly with some other minor changes or content.

- Fix crash when interacting with drawer controller as sided inventory (pipes, conduits, auto-output of machines, etc.).
- Added config entry to disable drawer controller block from registration.

ExUtils transfer pipes don't connect to the controller.
When inserting items into a controller with hoppers, sometimes the last item disappears.
Sounds like another ore dictionary entry that probably needs blacklisting.
Unrelated, the controller block isn't the only thing I've been working for the 1.3 update.

ExUtils pipes won't connect to newly placed controller until at least one item has been inserted. This seems to be a visual glitch and doesn't affect functionality.
Placing items by hand in controller won't fill empty drawers, but piping items in does. Not sure if this is intended.
1x1 drawers have no recipe that I could find in NEI.
Fancy item rendering looks small on 1x1 drawers.
