Individual packs won't come back. A single combined pack may, but with the framed drawers a thing now, I may instead do a trim block pack. In addition to the bordered wood blocks, I think I'd provide the flat light and dark wood variants, and by combining those two you could achieve the exact same finish with a framed drawer that you would originally have got with the wood packs.
Any plank type is still valid to make oak drawers as long as the fallback recipes option remains enabled.
I don't quite parse some of that -- the "bordered wood blocks" sound like the trim blocks, but which are the "flat light and dark wood variants"? But I get that you intend to provide blocks with enough textures for the framing drawers to work around the missing recipes. Though if I understand correctly, a framed drawer ends up costing twice as much wood as the basic recipes.
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Quite frankly I find all that "trim" and wood variants to be a distraction. If the mod settled on a distinct "own style" and dumped any pretense of matching vanilla or mod woods I would be quite content. More than content as I regard the style variants a waste of texture memory.
While the vanilla versions are baked in, the rest were provided in addon packs so they'd be optional. Lots of people do like them and that it fits in with vanilla.
Trading out the traditional packs for a "trim" pack would make it more overtly an aesthetics/builder's pack, use a quarter of the texture memory, a fraction of the block IDs, be easier for texture pack makers to support, and still support the same design point I built the mod around.
May I recommend a change to the default sizes for drawers?
I mention this because I feel like I'm cheating if I change things, with the goal of youtubing/streaming my world/play.
Basically, scale things between 27x1 (vanilla chests) and 1x64 (barrels).
So, if you can hold 2 different objects, a full block holds 56 (2x28)
4 objects, a block holds 48 (4x12)
8 objects, a block holds 32 (8x4)
Or half those for a half-block drawer.
This gives a reason to use the bigger drawers/fewer objects per block (which, actually, fits the idea of other mods like AE), and gives a nicer "smooth scale" from chests to barrels.
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
Maybe FTB isn't the most representative base, but I feel like most people I see using them default to huge numbers of 1x1 blocks as it is.
I've always kind of liked the property that if you know the capacity of the 1x1 drawer, you can figure out the rest just by subdividing the volume. So I'd be more inclined to give the base numbers a uniform boost, but I'm not sure that base capacity was a key concern of your suggestion.

Got this when I upgraded from 3.2.6 on a 1.10.2 server:
There are 26 missing blocks and items in this save.
If you continue the missing blocks/items will get removed.
A world backup will be automatically created in your saves directory.
Missing Blocks/Items:

Run the command /fml confirm or or /fml cancel to proceed.
Alternatively start the server with -Dfml.queryResult=confirm or -Dfml.queryResult=cancel to preselect the answer.
If I'm reading this right, it looks like forge wants to remove all storage drawers from the world. Is this right? If so, how do I upgrade without losing everything?
Edit: Looking more closely at the logs I see this:
[10:30:38] [Server thread/INFO] [FML]: FML has found a non-mod file StorageDrawers-1.7.10-1.10.2.jar in your mods directory. It will now be injected into your classpath. This could severe stability issues, it should be removed if possible.
Hello, I wonder if you can increase the transmission, management, compression, the three boxes of the assembly frame. I'm sorry I'm a little obsessive.
And when I put the two drawer together when rendering is a little problem, dark, do not know if the modified model is whether jison can solve this problem?

That's not a version for MC 1.10.2! SD's natural version numbers just happened to get far enough to also hit 1.10.2, but the prefix is what tells you which MC version it's compatible with: 1.7.10.

Sorry, I don't really understand what you're asking here.

Oops. Sorry. Figured the file version was one of those "this works with 1.7.10 +" things. Completely missed the version number column when I downloaded it from Curse.
Drawers Drawer, Controller Controller, Slave Compacting, can increase the above items of Drawer Framed?
I think he's asking if the Drawer Controller, Slave, and Compacting Drawer can be framed, or made frameable.

I guess it may have been asked before and if so, I'm sorry for asking again, but is there or will there be an addon pack for Biomes'o'plenty for 1.10.2? Because i play with 1.10.2 and the main mod is already updated, only thing i would be missing and would love to see (because, I kinda fell in love with this mod xD) would be the drawers for the Biomes'O'Plenty woods, like in 1.7.10.
Thanks in advance for a nice reply and sorry again if this has already been answered and I didn't see it...
Is there any way to show the name of the item is already on any drawer? i use for example Pam's HarvestCraft and i use drawers to store the whole bunch of items that mod has but its kinda frustating when you need 1 specific item for a recipe and cant see the names
usually the item that is in the drawer would show on the front as a picture similar to item frames - otherwise use WAILA to see what is inside your drawers. There is also an idicator upgrade for this mod that can show you how much is inside n stuff
Yeah i know some items are recognizable but having like 50 different ores from mods, is really hard to see which one is the one im looking for, and i use wawla sadly, i guess ill have to change to waila

Am I missing something or you can't make 1x1 size drawers?

Keep in mind that a 1x1 drawer is about 1/3 of the cost of a barrel. It makes sense that it would hold less.
