I have tested your builds of Iris and Indium and was able to reproduce the error. The UI actually comes back when you press F1, which is interesting. I did find other compatibility issues with Iris too that I'm going to fix.
EDIT: I was able to confirm that Indium is not required and that the issue is technically on Iris' end (possibly only Starline). You can crash the game with the same error if you equip an enchanted sword and take damage while in the inventory screen (where your character model is visible). I should be able to fix the GUI disappearing though.
EDIT2: It was already fixed on their end, so please go update.
