I've been wanting something like this for a while. Should be fun on things like skyblock, and just in general if you don't like the exploration part of finding good nodes!
Used this Matrix, and the cost of essentia seemed to be too much (especially the ordo). Is this the original setting?
The book told me that I need 150 unit of each kind....
Yes, but that involves downloading the mod, installing the mod, and then looking for the information in the Thaumonomicon.
It's a major gripe I have with OpenBlocks. They've removed all documentation on their site because "it's all in game"... In a vanilla style book... which is so much of a bear to read that I usually disable the item entirely. If I want to know what something does, it's not in NEI, it's not (use-able) on a wiki, it's not on their site. This is not a good thing.
Having even minimal documentation on the forum page would be a very good thing. You shouldn't even need to keep it that up-to-date!
Super fun, and a great addition. Nodes are a commodity, so it's fitting for producing one yourself to be so incredibly time consuming and expensive. Is there any chance, however, of a config file to edit values or to restrict node types?
And, another mod that provides no documentation on its announcement thread.
"Just read the Thaumonomicon" is not an answer to "do the tradeoffs for this mod warrant me downloading and installing it?".
Especially when "just read the Thaumonomicon" requires adding permanent warp to my character... which, IIUC, will not be removed if I then uninstall the mod.
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

His other pretty bad, and equally undocumented mod removes warp.
And I think you have to have the Eldrich tab in order to even see what those are.
The best use of it is to install it, remove your warp, and then get rid of it, as it adds a few terrible effects to warp.
Nodal Mechanics
An addon for Thaumcraft which adds a new research item and several associated recipes which allow you to craft nodes using large quantities of vis.

It adds a new forbidden research in the bottom left of Basic Information.

Should be in a new tab of the Thaumonomicon. It will likely take research to unlock... enjoy the warp!
I request this for Nodal Mechanics and Warp Theory.
I used to run a Minecraft blog, but then I took some music to the eardrums. Now I DJ as Quest the Ninja.

Or just command it away.
