Great mod - but one thing is really "off" and ruins the balance I think (i changed it in the configs for that reason) :
The RF-value for mekanism-ethene... About 11.000.000 RF (more or less - exact number doesnt really matter) for one single bucket of ethene?
In mekanism gas-generator the same bucket burns for 800k RF ; that seems way more reasonable. I think that 11M-value is a bug/small error in your mod?
ethene is very easy to produce (for one bucket you basically need 10 rotten flesh and some RF for the machines). Its basically bio-fuel - so it *should* have a similar RF-value than the other biofuel-liquids ; like in mekanism.

Where are you getting 800k from? I've just tested with lates mekanism 8.1.5 and i get ~11,170k RF per bucket in a gas burning generator
I am palying FTB Horizons Daybreaker and I wanted to give this Mod a try. So I'm new to Industrial stuff and I don't knwo much about it and I have one question: What is Steam for and how do I use it. I think I knwo how to make it but I don't know what it is for, so I hope someone can help me
If you pump it into railcraft turbines you can make industrialcraft EU. If you pump it into Big Reactors turbines you can make lots of redstone flux. This is only a few of the many possibilities.
You treat steam like a liquid. Use Ender IO liquid conduits or Buildcraft liquid pipes to move it.

Steam turbines can make RF and EU from steam, syngas producers can use steam instead of water and work more efficiently.
bdew, I'm having trouble with a turbine config. I opened up your jarfile for examples but my config doesn't seem to be taking effect:
recipes {
turbine-fuel: fuel 100 MJ/mB
}
I used /dumpregistry and "fuel" is a valid liquid. I've used EnderIO conduits and fluidicts with servos but I can't it to go into the turbine. Additionally, when I hold the bucket, it doesn't give me a WAILA tooltip that it burns in the turbine like you'd see with TE's Liquid Coal. The file is config/AdvGenerators/turbine.cfg and the forge log verifies that the config file is read and that it recognized the recipe. Thoughts? Suggestions?

In your log, look for a line that says "Turbine fuels:" - it should list all the fuels that are registered - is it there?
Moreover, if you have fuel from BC - it should be automatically added, unless you use some very old version. Or is that from some other mod?
This is not BCs fuel, this is PneumaticCraft's gasoline. PneumaticCraft takes over BCs fuel and oil (as liquid:fuel and liquid:oil) anytime its loaded.. and Ibet this may have to do with why my recipe isn't working. Any troubleshooting steps I can try to take?
EDIT: Will be out for a few hours, I'll try it when I get home and post a reply

Hm, So you have both BC and PneumaticCraft installed?
I had similar issues with 2 mods (i think it was RC and TE) registering steam. Since forge 10.13.4.x there can be multiple mods registering the same fluid, and what happens is that the "chosen" fluid is one thing during startup then changes once the world loaded - which causes all kinds of weirdness.
Not sure if this has been brought up, but I see it has been an issue for some time. The iron bushings from Ancient Warfare use the same recipe as iron frames from Advanced Generators. This being the case, I cannot make the iron bushings. Is there a fix?

Ugh. There's only that many ways to arrange 4 ingots in a 3x3 grid...
I'll consider changing the recipe in the future, for now you can use a custom config to change it
Hai. Loving the mod, finally something to throw my quarter million iron ingots at. But I have one question regarding Syngas production. Is there any reason why peat (from Forestry) has no carbon value despite it containing large amounts of carbon?
EDIT: And I just found out that the power requirement for the Advanced Pressure Valve's TE recipe is too high. It actually requires more power than the induction smelter can store. Never mind, I was not aware that the power capacity rises when you upgrade the device.

I'll add peat in the next version.
Also TE machines can accept additional energy while doing the crafting, so it should finish even if it's more energy than fits in the machine, might take a while tho without upgrades
My Induction Smelter didn't start the crafting until after I had upgraded them, even though I had a 130 million RF buffer hooked up to it.. And while I do remember them doing partial operations back in 1.6.4 I don't think that's still a thing in 1.7.10.
EDIT: knew I forgot something. Can you add Syngas buckets? Would be nice to have. For transporting small amounts of Syngas, of course. Most certainly not for filling my little brother's house with Syngas and watching it go boom. #BlatantLies

I have one word for you: Florbs
I'll add buckets when i get around to it (and by "it" i mean figuring out how to blow up a player if they place the bucket near a torch in their inventory)

Hm you're right. I've reduced the cost to 48k so it can be done in a basic machine.

The "official" (think that is the official one) wiki also says 800k RF:
http://wiki.aidancbrady.com/wiki/Ethylene
Maybe the 11M RF are a bug in the latest mekanism-version(?)
11M RF is and would be totally OP - especially for very cheap bio-fuel...

Make a file [minecraft]/config/AdvGenerators/[whatever].cfg and put in it something like that - https://gist.github.com/bdew/1506e161867f97ee033e
You can play with the I's and underscores to change the shape.

Ask RWTema (Extra Utilities) for tips on how to blow a player up. He/She has plenty of experience with things that go boom.
