Come to think of it, that was the only Project Zulu part I didn't care about back in 1.5.2. I'm a big fan of the mod overall, but if you have other mods installed (Thaumcraft, Ars Magicka, etc), the potion system pretty much becomes an waste of time and valuable inventory space. Unless it gets expanded into something more valuable than short term effects for already overpowered players, if it could be made optional with the config, I'd probably use the option to disable it myself.

BTW I've tested the scenario of slaying a player spawned and "naturally" spawned Alligator and so far I have not encountered the bug you are reporting. Does it always happen with Alligators? Or do other PZ mobs generate the same issue? Can you send me the text contents of your recent crash log (located at \.minecraft\crash-reports) via PM. Thanks.

I seem to have isolated the cause of the crash you reported and am doing a few more tests before I release an update. Nice selection of mods btw.

It only happens with alligators.
when it happens again, I will send crash report if the game makes one. usually if the game goes white screen and completely freezes,
it tends not to create a crash report log file, I don't know why. but I will send what I have next time it does it.

Apologies, soultek101 and to anyone else who's here for this awesome mod. Honestly, the last thing I wanted to do was hijack the thread. Especially this thread. And not just because Project Zulu is one of my all-time favourite mods, though admittedly that is a big reason. Another reason is that PZ is important to the community as a whole, as evidenced by it being included in a number of big mod packs and the fact that it has some very important features that just can't be found anywhere else. These are the same reasons why I'm very grateful that soultek101 has picked the mod up and that's he's moving it forward. I wanted to support soultek101's efforts with Project Zulu, not undermine them. I'm assured that that's what I've done and that I've broken the forum rules and I apologise for this as well. I'm also told there was a flame war started by my question. I'm glad those comments have been deleted. I didn't read them but I'm very ashamed that my question led to such a thing and I apologise sincerely to anyone who was offended. Mohawky's sig is simply a quote from a series of books that I haven't read. I've just been going over the potions charts on the wiki and I'm impressed. In all the time I've been playing PZ, I've never made a single PZ potion. I've never even made a custom brewing stand. The only reason I can think is that I just never liked the vanilla potions system so I'd just assumed I wouldn't like this either. Dumb! It looks awesome. Just a couple of questions about it, please? I'm not sure but I seem to remember a setting to disable all vanilla potions/potion recipes. Is that possible or am I getting it confused with something else? Also, what does the config setting: B:"Enable Null Potion Handler"=true do?
and lastly, I'm not seeing a way to make PZ splash potions in the charts. Is there a way?

Removes potion effects that are not present. Basically sovles a crash where if you put an effect on the player (or any random entity), disabled the effect, and loaded the entity the game would crash as the effect doesn't exist. This removes those undeclared effects.
Would someone mind posting/mirroring the main download to a site other than mediafire? Mega.co.nz or Dropbox.com would work fine, I can't get past the China firewall with a proxy on a mediafire link due to the JavaScript involved. Thanks! I don't mind if you use adf.ly in the mirror or anything like that, so long as I can download this awesome mod.

Anyways, if you didn't know already, Attempting to right-click on a tamed fox in the latest 1.7.10 version results in nothing happening, right-clicking on it with paper results in a seemingly incomplete renaming window, and causes the singleplayer server to crash when attempting to type and rename the fox. (Not tested in multiplayer yet)
I assume this is because of a missed conversion to the UUID system, but I haven't gotten my forge dev environment up and running yet due to China's google blocks making it near impossible to get some libraries.
Note, the above was only tested in offline-mode, due to mojang's auth servers being almost inaccessible here for the past couple of days, so it may not happen with online-mode. Any confirmation?
Oh, and is the GitHub repo still open for issues? Or would it be wise to move to a different repo or just post here?

Thank you very much for the feedback about the fox. However, upon doing several tests I was able to "give out" instructions to my fox after taming it. I used other items except the taming item and so far it worked out fine. The only issue I see is if you right click the fox while it is still "in love" mode (hearts flying about) you would not be able to see the current command it has, hence it would seem that it does nothing. But I do have to check that renaming option you mentioned since it did cause a crash.
