EDIT: Hi ddm999. You play FF, right?
This is seriously awesome though!
Because I wrote this mod a long time ago and am only now releasing it. Will update it to 1.7.x soon-ish, though.
Changelog
- Added 'Show Units' setting (can be set to on, minimal, or off)
- Added 'Precision' setting
- Decreased default precision from 4 to 2
- Added the last jump info floating text option to the settings screen
Download v1.0.1 (for Minecraft 1.6.4):

Changelog
- Added a 1.7.x version
- Added support for the Version Checker mod (1.7.x only)
- Fixed 'minimal' unit display defaulting to on (was meant to be false)
- Fixed meters/sec accidentally showing meters/tick
Download v1.0.2 (for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.7.x):
CurseForge | Github | Adf.ly
Nope. You could just multiply blocks/sec by 3600 though.
Whoops, will fix that.
Changelog
- Fixed config comment for speedUnit showing the wrong code for meters/sec
- Added French localization (thanks AegisLesha)

It looks like Cubes Edge uses motionX/motionY/motionZ, which may not take all movement into account (for example, riding a horse). Squeedometer uses the actual distance traveled per tick to calculate speed, so no matter what, it will show an accurate speed.
This happened a few weeks back but I'm just now getting around to updating this thread:
Added versions for 1.9.x and 1.10.x. No changelog.
