Using the portals too frequently shouldn't be a problem, only on your power if you're using it with power.
MC 1.7.10, Forge 1219, and EP3 3.0.6
I have changed all the portals each with 2 redstone interface to auto terminate upon exit. One redstone interface set to Input-Dial Specific Identifier(2) and the other one to Output-Player touch portal. I'm not even sure if that's proper way to set auto terminate but seems to be working. And haven't crashed so far. And I don't believe I have any power issues. And it always crashed upon returning to Overworld. Never crashed going to Mars or Moon.

The redstone configuration you made shouldn't be a problem. Can you please open up an issue ticket on our GitHub with the current set of information and anything else you've noticed?
Temporary fix for #142, lengthening the # of blocks checked by the controller to see the other side of a portal frame before giving up on verifying if a portal can be established.

Will do after some more troubleshooting. Now it hasn't happened for two days and trying to figure out what fixed it.

I couldn't troubleshoot the cause of the crash but my suspicion now is that because I placed the overworld portal in my engine room where there are too many stuff from all different mods (which are mostly still on beta as well) and perhaps it's crashing while trying to load everything? Because it never crashes when porting to other dimensions where there are very little "stuff"
I opened the issue on GitHub with the information I currently have.
I set down a 2x3x2 set of stabalizer blocks, hit it with the wrench. After i clicked it again to set it up, nothing happenes, one corner of the set also doesnt change. help!!!

I vaguely remember this happening during a test. I believe it was a 1.7.10 build and forge caused it. A few hours later I tried the newest forge build and it was fixed.
Seriously though, you could be running the 1.6.4 version for all I know. You need to give me your MC version, forge version, and EP version for starters.

Spoiler Didn't work, Sorry.
literally the fix is written above your comment , you are using an old forge version , currently 1.7.10 is st 10.13.2.1232 go update
This mod looks really good, I am thinking I may add it to the Direwolf20 1.7.10 pack if it is not included already. I know you have your own paint mechanics but is there any reason your blocks may not work with the EnderIO painting machine?
Whoa, did I read that right? If I set up a pumping station in the Nether to collect lava for my geothermal generators, I can set up a fluid pipeline that leads THROUGH one of these portals back to where I need the lava?

yeah you can do that bt both portals need to have the Fluid transportation module then connect each one with the pipes and activate the portal and adjust the module with the wench to receive or send fluid it can also transport energy and items just as a precaution use Immibis Dimensional Anchors to keep chunks in the nether loaded

Railcraft dimensional anchors won't work? (I have a love/hate relationship with paying an ender pearl every 12 hours)

also make sure you either supply it with power or disable it in config file
This is what it looks like, Ill hit it with my wrench and nothing happened. It still looks this way after i disabled the requirement for power.
