This may seem like a stupid question, considering the name, but with Tinker's Construct dropping all but critical issue support on the 1.7.10 version of the mod, I simply wanted to know: Does this mod require Tinker's Construct to work? Or can it be used independently for use in configuring the progression of vanilla tools?
So, this may be an odd request, and sorry if it's been asked before, but... I don't use TiC. I don't like it. Even with tweaks, I think it's broken, and it doesn't play well with other mods I like anyway.
However, I do like having clay buckets. I like that feature a lot. Thing is, I can't have ITT without TiC. So... any chance of a standalone mod for features that aren't, strictly speaking, dependant on TiC? (I'd love to have the Drying Rack too, but as it's core TiC, that's out of your hands.)
I cant find the config file, or the override module and i need to fix a few little thigns getitng in the way of my progression (like being unable to mine tin or coal, but somehow able to mine copepr and iron, and the fact that i cant make stone casts).
can anyone help with this problem? maybe a link to the module download, or what the config file is called?
This is regarding the 1.7.10 version - while I can swap out the head on my shovel with an iron head just fine, I can't swap out the axe on my Lumber Axe with an iron version. What gives? Both tools are fully repaired.
Additionally, this is in single-player, on the Regrowth pack, if that helps.

All of the config files are in the "IguanaTinkerTweaks" folder inside your config folder. The override config files are not generated by default. To create them, you need to set "B:Overrides" to true in the "Modules.cfg" file.

See i tried looking for anything in config that was iguana, and nothing came up, i also checked for anything related to tinkers and only a few things popped up, none of them igauna. i think im somehow playing without a config file for the mod.
I have been trying to find out how to change what is consider useful by usefulbonuses being true. I am tired of my crossbows getting so many stats that are useless on them.

Have you logged into the world? I added ITT to my Infinity world but the configs did not appear until i had logged into a world.

I mean logicaly i woudl have had to have been in a world to discover these issues right? so logically yes, ive logged into the world. at this point i might jsut remove igauna and play without it since its basically jsut stonewallign me at EVERY turn.
I mean riddle me this: Flint pic with mining level upgraded to iron cant mine tin or coal, meanwhile iron pic with mining level iron can mine everything but tin from another modpack, and bronze can mine everything period, but breaks 5 tiems faster even with stonebound and +2 moss modifiers.
i think i FUBAR'd it all somehow and i cant explain any of it.
I looked through the last 3 pages and didn't see this listed, so sorry if it was listed before that. Are the features where you can repair a tool in any inventory and where you can change how many modifiers a new tool has left off arrows\bolts intentionally? I have new tools set to have one modifier and this works on everything except arrows and bolts. They also can't be repaired in anything besides a tool station, tool forge, or tinker table.

I have a problem, probably not a very common one, I don't expect anybody has brought it up before...
I'm using metallurgy 3 and extraTiC, and I've used this combination mods and basically rewrote the stats on every single material in the game. Now, this works great, armor and melee weapons are working fine.
The trouble is, there doesn't seem to be any method to alter ranged weapon material stats. Any help would be appreciated.

At least for now, ranged stats can only be altered using MineTweaker and ModTweaker.
I have a bigger problem. The weight/likelihood for autosmelt is too ****ing high. I'm on my 20th pickaxe, over 4k cobble mined and I've had 4 make it to to lvl 2 without Auto Smelt, all getting Auto Smelt on level 3. I shouldn't have to disable it to get a normal pickaxe.
So I figure that this question has been answered but not sure where to look; how do I change the harvestability back to the way it was before iguana tinker tweaks? I just want the leveling system.
Hello, I like this mod but I was wondering if it was possible (with just the mod config or using Minetweaker) to allow the creation of bone mattocks but not any other non-metal mattock.
The reason is that I like the non-metal mattocks option, but in my modpack you don't get ores for a very long time so it's hard to start farming. I want to be able to make bone mattocks because it is somewhat of a challenge (killing skeletons) without being too easy.
Sorry if that was unclear, I basically want to result to be:
You can create metal mattocks and bone mattocks, nothing else.
Boni, I'm a fan of your work since you started working on this mods.
One mod I really want to use is iguana tweaks but no matter what every time I install it and start a game I cannot use vanilla tools which doesn't let me start a nice game.
Yes, yes it does.
Hey, I'm having some trouble adjusting some blocks. How do I use the block override for things without an oredict group?
has anyone gotten the mob heads to work on a pick?
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.

I have no idea how I ever played Vanilla.

Oh, I guess I will look into those, thanks!
It's in the configs @GrasshopperFK
