Konnichiwa. This is a re-release of my old mod, that seemed to be enjoyed. The code for Minecraft changed a lot, as did my life, so this is a complete redo of everything (except the textures).
I'm hopefully going to keep this up to date for a while.
Although I haven't tested it on various versions, it should be compatible with all 1.7 builds.
Send me a report if it doesn't work with your version.
This requires MinecraftForge to run.
I will not be providing tutorials on how to install Forge. There are plenty of tutorials for that.
Installing:
Download the latest .jar file from below the logo, and copy it in your "/mods" directory.

Crafting in MineKawaii follows simple patterns.
Pocky:
Where is a flavor modifier (sugar for Strawberry, cocoa for Chocolate, milk for Vanilla, leaves for Matcha, pumpkin seeds for Almond.
And is a cookie.
Rice Bowl
Smelt Wheat
Uncooked Ramen
Where is wheat.
Then, add hot water.
Hot water is created by smelting a water bottle.
Cooked Ramen
Uncooked Ramen + Hot Water Bottle
Ramune
Where is sugar and is a bottle of water (regular, not hot).

Your uncooked ramen recipe conflicts with the vanilla bread recipe. You should change the configuration of the wheat, so one has to place wheat diagonally to get uncooked ramen, or change the amount of wheat required to either 2 wheat, or 4 wheat. I know there are mods such as No More Recipe Conflict, but, it might be better just to fix the uncooked ramen recipe.
This mod looks great! Exactly what I was looking for! I might do a mod review of this if you don't mind and if I do like it I'm going to add it to my new Pixelmon playthrough I'm starting. [I'm trying to add a couple Japanese styled mods to add a little something extra]

I do have a suggestion though, perhaps you could look into making onigiri? You could use the rice in the crafting recipe. Just a thought I had earlier.
Edit: Also you could do something similiar to Golden Apples in Minecraft. You could make Golden Pocky and have each different flavor of Golden Pocky have different effects on you.

I think they sell Pocky at most chain bookstores, I know they use to at Borders. Also check for Asian stores in malls. There's one in my mall that sells it, it's where I buy my incense too.
I made an Add-on for this MOD! It is "Houtou Addon". Houtou is a kind of Japanese noodles.
feature: add houtou(recipe: 3 pumpkins 1 carrot 1 cooked noodles)
Cooked noodles and Houtou now can be put into a cauldron.You can dip up them having an empty glass bottle.
Add recipes for Sushi(Ricebowl & fish or salmon or pufferfish).

Hmm... I'll see about Yan Yan and Candy Kits, those textures would be a bit complicated to add~ but I'll try!
Bubble Tea was in the 1.6 version and I'll be adding it in the next update.
I may add Miso Soup as well.

I have played Minecraft with MODs, but never seen this kind of ones, good mod!
I'm now suggesting Karamucho, released by Koikeya, which is slightly spicy but still a delicious snack!
