I think he meant both as in PMP and Garden Stuff. Decoration Mega Pack seems to rely heavily on the new block rendering stuff in 1.8 so there would be no 1.7.10 version.
Oh. I wish he would port it to 1.7.10 with a similar render system to Decocraft, which I'll have to settle with for now.

Be aware, there is an individual uploading "Garden Stuff 1.8" to various third party mod sites including Planet Minecraft.
There is no 1.8 version of the mod. The jar file being uploaded is malware.
Thanks for the heads-up, jaquadro. Btw, have you been able to contact the forum devs about this quote post bug? It makes the pointer get stuck in the quote instead of outside it like normal. Makes me have to go into the BBCode and type my message from there. Really sucks.

Have you tried just pressing the down arrow key? I mean, that seems like a really obvious solution that I feel a little patronising suggesting it, but when I quote something I find my cursor inside the quote instead of outside, and pressing the down arrow sends it outside again.
Failing that, pressing return three times with the bar at the end of it should exit the quote too.
I mean, it's still something that should be fixed, but I've not had to go into the BB code myself, yet. Maybe it's different on other browsers...

Thanks, it works now. It really should be outside the quote by default, as it really annoys me right now.

Suggestion (hope i'm not pestering you): make the bigger pots take block skins like the window boxes do, since you can get wooden or stone-effect pots in real life. Also, are you planning to add Highlands compatibility soon?
It would be cool if you could allow a tool to pick up the pots and move them around, if its not already implented :]
It's not exactly hard without a tool, unless you're constantly moving large arrangements around.
Edit: although it would be cool if some modder made a handtruck device for moving large tile entities around intact. Might be easy to abuse, though, it would need a reason not to just drag a huge chest of supplies everywhere.

You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
I remembered what I keep meaning to ask: Could you put in a config option to re-enable making wrought iron by reheating iron ingots?

I love how I can change the color of foliage in Containers or Garden soil with your mod.
Would it be possible to change the color of ingame grass/foliage?
Let's say I'd like to build a glasshouse in the middle of snow biome with nice lush green grass and trees etc.
Is it possible to change the biome color just in that very spot without altering snowfall and biome temperature?
I guess it's all possible because it all happens in one of your Containers and wouldn't work in normal world, right?
Well, the Large Flowerpots join when placed next to each other and filled with the same stuff, so you could just cover the whole floor of the greenhouse with them and use the tropical soil test on all of them. Not sure if that would affect foliage blocks, though, but depending on your modpack you could use plants whose foliage color is fixed, like Highlands palm and canopy trees.
Alternatively, you could change the actual biome in the greenhouse with another mod, which would get you the full range of biome effects (ocelots!) and would only look odd during actual precipitation. For that, I would suggest either Biome Wand or Random Things. Biome Wand is more straightforward and self-contained, but only affects things in ~7x7 blocks. Random Things' Biome Capsule is tricky to use but very controllable, but RT comes with a bunch of other stuff that you may need to turn off if you don't want it (I got it for the fast leaf decay and turned off most of the rest).

Generally not. All the blocks would need to be replaced with a Garden Stuff equivalent (grass, leaves, ferns). There isn't a good way to override a part of a biome.
You can look at LordEric's suggestions above, though it will not help your trees unless you can find some suitable mod leaf blocks that do not change color by biome. The large flower pots do accept grass blocks as a substrate, so you could still get bright grass through that and plant other color-sensitive plants inside the pots.
Just posting this here so I can say I reported it.
Waila issue I believe. Does the same kind of thing with horizontal logs. Any non-oak horizontal log shows as oak log in waila.

Actually my issue, since the waila support is written into the mod. The oak log issue is on waila though.e
Oh, ok. I'll let WAILA know of the horizontal log issue.

Any news or info on a possible 1.8 version of Garden Stuff?
So... has anyone gotten an error for not being able to find "plantRenderID" on start up?
You need to provide more info, like the log.

The most minor issue ever. Gardenstuff pots are showing as the wrong color in waila.
