Sorry to those still playing 1.8.9, but there won't be a version for it. The same build should support 1.9.4/1.10.2.
Though people will still end up making unofficial private ports for themselves using the Github source. I myself did that when Treecapitator didn't get a 1.8.9 version, and it went beautifully, after a bit of minor tweaking to adjust for incompatible variables.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
If your version of plant mega pack is outdated, it's a known incompatibility. You'll have to try and find an updated copy from another person or mod pack, because the author has made his mods unavailable.

First useful content (as usual a bigger PITA to implement than I expected)
For anyone super inclined, these fully use the blockstate/model system and could be replaced with more uh ... "3D" versions. I will be deliberately sticking to the prior asthetic of some 3D elements mixed with flat planes. Just like it better.
Two things that will NOT implement blockstate are lattice and chains. This is due to how these blocks dynamically extend themselves outside of their legal bounds to connect with other things. Sorry no gaudy 3D chainlinks.
Words cannot express how excited I am that you are working on porting this to 1.10.2! I am SO looking forward to making a garden with your wrought iron fences and Druidry's flowers!
Your mod is really awesome and I wish I coud use it too, but everytime I try to load it, forge crashes, even though it's the correct version. Maybe someone who knows why this happens, could give me advice
A crash log would go a long way in helping us help you.

The reason jaquadro said he wouldn't use json for those blocks id because they go outside their legal bounds depending on what's next to them, I don't think knowledge of the system was the issue. Although I did think you could make json models dynamically render outside their bounds, but I guess I'm mistaken

Well that topic clearly states how to fix that issue.

Having read said topic, it only says how to dynamically connect to adjacent blocks, not how to render Json models outide the block's bounds. Do you understand what the topic said?
Very nice, but I need to 1.10.2 version I do not know if you plan to support?

They're welcome to do so, but the deep render code in the mod will make the task very unpleasant.

So just a little proof that I am trying to do something with this mod.
It's slow going though. A ground-up rewrite and impacted by a lot of changes between 1.7.10 and 1.10.2, beyond just rendering.
I also hope no one minds that I'm drawing a line in the sand and requiring Java 8 going forward.

Seems like it's something a lot of mod authors have to do and it's make-it-or-break-it
Looks good so far, dude! I'm super excited to have Garden Stuff back!

thats a shame about 10paks mods. i have the latest version of PMP for 1.7.10 if anyone needs it
Cool, though I can just go use WayBackMachine and view an old page before it was taken down, download them and rehost them, giving credit to 10pak.

So many mods, so little time.

This is now one of the final mods I'm waiting for before I upgrade to 1.10. Looking forward to the eventual update

Look at this, it'll show you it is possible to make dynamic blocks like chains(example uses pipes) with nothing but block states and models: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/modification-development/2319736-how-to-render-pipes-using-blockstates-with-example
