Hi there. I have had the same crashes as claycorp. Silly me also, I have to go to curse and download the right one. Curse site is down for me now though. In the meantime I will say this, your mod is perfect!
In my opinion it adds much more than a realistic texture pack could ever add. It's funny how sound is such an important thing, I didn't even think of that aspect until I stumbled on this mod and tried it out.

Ah, yes. Someone reported that a few pages back. I'm still trying to figure out what's causing it.
Just a little saturday afternoon crash for you
Crash: TNT ignition or explosion, in creative, 1.7.10
You can take a quick look or disregard as it didn't crash 2nd time!
(EDIT: the spoilers thingy doesn't work!? [spoilers].....[/spoilers] right? Can it be because the crash log is too big?)

It's [spoiler ] [ /spoiler] No "s" on the end.
Edit: Hmm maybe it's broken? I see the spoiler in the edit screen but it doesn't show when I save it =/

Thanks
Still doesn't work

Guess the crash log is just too big!
Yeah, it's done that to me a few times. It's not happy with one section of the crash report (which gets really long if you have lots of mods). Just paste it into a private message and send it to me.
This is great! Would it be possible to add filters associated with certain effects? For example, a high pass filter on a potion of speed?
I take it the filtering isn't something the engine has built into it already - so it begs the question, how do you end up modifying the sounds on the fly? It seems like if you had to filter a very large sound (like a music disc) dynamically it could take up a lot of processing time!

You are totally thinking about this signature right now. Read a book.
Actually it does. OpenAL is part of the sound system (it's basically the audio version of OpenGL). It has a bunch of filters built into it, including the reberb, echo, low pass, high pass, band pass, wahwah, etc... all the basics. I don't know why more people haven't used it more (though you can't unless you override the sound library, which I did for this mod).
I'm going to make an API that will allow anyone to relatively easily add their own filters for this, so that will be possible =). Before I make the API though, I want to catch as many crashes as possible and fix them.
I've released version 0.6 for both 1.6 and 1.7, with some fixes and improvements.
The change logs are here, under their respective file names, but I'll post the changes here as well:
-Fixed a silly error causing the occlusion list to be used for reverb
-Improved the occlusion list funtionality
-Fixed crashing after loading a resource pack (in the 1.7 version; it still crashes in the 1.6 version, unfortunately)
-(Hopefully) fixed a crash with the Localized Weather & Storms mod (http://coros.us/mods/weather2); if you do get any more crashes with it, tell me
-Changed the lists in the config to use doubles (for more precise customization) in 1.7
-Changed the ids in the config to use strings instead of numerical ids in 1.7
I changed some parts of the config, so you may want to re-load it if you're updating the 1.7 version.
And as always, if you find any crashes or bugs, please send them my way. =)
Thanks! =)
Absolutely fantastic! This mod is such a small thing, but makes such a HUGE difference in immersion! I get totally freaked out in caves, and I love every minute of it. And I agree, that Ghast is TERRIFYING (in a good way~!). I have Coros weather mod installed, so I'll test it tonight and report back! Thanks for your amazing support!

I've been messing around a bit myself, testing with a few of the storms, and haven't come across any crashes yet. Hopefully it's fixed for good.
I did get a crash with Coro's Particle Man mod using sound filters 0.6 (1.7.2), CoroUtil 1.0, Particle Man 1.0, and Forge 10.12.2.1121:

I am a supporter of Planet Minecraft.
Wot m8? I assume you have the wrong mod page since this doesn't do anything with torch shadows =P
Either that or I'm very confused =P.
All right. =)
If you get any crashes, send them my way.
What do you mean? How could this be used to give torches shadows?
I take it the filtering isn't something the engine has built into it already - so it begs the question, how do you end up modifying the sounds on the fly? It seems like if you had to filter a very large sound (like a music disc) dynamically it could take up a lot of processing time!
