also 1.7.2 mods work with 1.7.10 forge most of the time so just change forge to 1.7.10 and add both 1.7.10 and 1.7.2 mods and is should work in most cases.
I take it that's why only 28 out of the 54 mods I was previously using currently work? So please redefine 'most'.
We will probably be throwing in a heap of Easter Eggs over the next few updates for you to find. A lot will be name tag based
Get ready to hunt. Perhaps if your the first to find them all we can give you a little in game prize? Tell me what you think.
I was also thinking about a Mob Competition. Would you guys be up for that? Make your mob (literally) or make a concept. Give it a power and you would get a Pet version of your creation that would follow you? Lemme know once again.

Basically, its head is the upper part of a cat while its body looks like a worm. Also, it can spit out acid for some reason.
I was thinking you could encounter it randomly in the wild looking like a sitting cat. However, when you approach it, it shows its true appearance.
In addition:
Tatzelwurms would be rarely be found in the swamp and mountain biome, but would have high amounts of health. When afar, they shoot acid (poison 1 for 5 seconds), but when up close, they bite you (poison 2 for 10 seconds, nausea 1 for 5 seconds).
-
When you defeat it, you get 1-3 Cat Scales (and rarely one Lucky Cat Scale). If you put 9 Cat Scales, you get a Lucky Cat Scale, which can form the Lucky Cat Sword. The Lucky Cat Sword prevents fall damage as well as shoots acid.
-
You can tame and breed tatzelwurms with raw fish.
-
Tatzelwurms naturally hate wolves and creepers, are neutral to kitsunes, and will attack anyone attacking ocelots/cats.
It'd spawn singularly in a jungle or dark oak forest and it would be a neutral mob. It will turn hostile in the same way that an Enderman does (if you look at it directly). The cockatrice will turn to look at you and turn you to "stone", rendering you immobile for 3 seconds. During this short time, the cockatrice will attack, and you will be afflicted with Poison II for 5 seconds. In order to exit combat, you turn away from the cockatrice once the petrification wears off and run in the other direction! When killed (has 8 hearts of health), it should drop...
-(25%) a cockatrice head or Staff of Petrifying (has 10 uses, and when used it freezes the mob that you're looking at for 5 seconds)
-Vanilla chicken drops
-Something else, possibly?
Didn't I previously suggest a Cockatrice?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Help save my poor eggs...you wouldn't just let them die would you?
Honestly, I'd ask for a 1.6.4 downgrade as well, since my 173 mods that I use aren't updated to 1.7.2. BUT. I will keep an eye on this, as it looks so cool. My only issue would be that a couple of the weapons are a bit OP, mainly the Lyre and normal Dendroid Sword (damage, not the stick ability :P). Also, the Clay Golem is impossible to kill... Erm... I can't live in a Mesa with him around.
Secondly, suggestions!
Cockatrice - Already suggested, but popular suggestions get added, right?
Reaper - Spawned by throwing a bone dagger into a 2x2 hole surrounded by soul sand OR rarely near Void Ursas. Holds a Black Scythe. Chases the player very slowly, never stops following the player if you get close, flies, and has a lot of health (you guys make mods, I don't know what's overpowered and what's not) or possibly, invulnerability. Five hearts of damage, ignores armor, and wither effect for half a second (mainly just to look like you took 5 hearts of damage from the wither effect). However, bringing it near a village will cause it to leave you alone and haunt the village instead, despawning eventually. If it can be killed, it would drop a ton of experience and a "Reaper Tunic" which has low durability, and gives nearby mobs the Wither effect, using durability to do so. It would provide the armor amount of a diamond chestplate. It would also drop the "Soul Scythe" which deals 7 damage and has a ton of durability. If right-clicked, the scythe fires a wither skull, at the cost of 1/32 of the durability. Hopefully, this weapon is balanced for killing such a mob. If the mob was invulnerable, however, you could only get rid of it with a village, and it would cause the villagers to become "Bone Villagers", which are explained next. If it kills you, it spawns a "Lost Bones", which is also explained. Once it wipes out an entire village or kills you, it despawns, leaving behind a single experience orb.
Bone Villager - Spawns if the Reaper kills a Villager. Has 20 health, it has a book floating in front of it that fires paper at you. The paper can drop on the ground if it doesn't hit you, and they will be randomly renamed, such as "Harry Potter, page 73" and jokes like that. (If that's too hard to code, I understand, still drops paper. :P) Drops bones and a "Villager Soul", which can be combined with Hard Leather to make "Soul Leather", which can be crafted into the Reaper Tunic.
Lost Bones - Spawns if the Reaper kills you. Has whatever you died with, along with 50 health. Deals damage based on the weapon it holds, and it automatically picks the strongest damage weapon from your inventory. If you died with no weapon, it throws items that were in your inventory at you, dealing damage based on the item and dropping on the ground. (Stuff like Cactus, tools, shears, etc. deal more damage, but rotten flesh and dirt deal nothing, knocking you back at the most.) Drops a "Player Soul" (same as Villager Soul, just looks slightly different) and whatever you had when you died, minus whatever it threw at you (if anything).
Infected Zombie - Spawns somewhat rarely in the forest. Has the tentacles from the Dendroid instead of it's left arm, moves faster, looks infected by wood, and wields a stick. 30 health, and faster than a normal zombie. It knocks you in the air if it hits you, and occastionally summons Dendroid Roots.
Vodnik - Spawns in oceans, swamps, and beaches. (Mostly swamps.) Small gremlin that lurks in the water and is peaceful unless you touch the water. If you touch the water, it grabs you and tries to take you to the deepest part of the water and drown you. Often spawn in groups of 4, have 20 health, and will let you go if you drop a Soul of some sort.
Hungry Ghoul - Spawns anywhere where zombies can spawn. Baby zombie that is slightly transparent. Peaceful unless provoked. It kills zombies and eats any rotten flesh on the ground, insta-killing zombies, but dealing normal zombie damage otherwise. Has 25 health, will attack you if you have rotten flesh in your inventory, can be sated by dropping it.
Leshy - Spawns in forests, slow golem-like creature that is normally peaceful to players. Has an effect similar to the iron golem, but with more knockback. Is provoked permanently if attacked or if you wear a Dendroid Mask at any time. Attacks Dendroids of any type. Has 200 health.
Domovoi - Spawns by typing this into the chat: “Grandfather Dobrokhot, please come into my house and tend the flocks!” (Yeah, it's really funny. xD) Only works once per player, and only if the player is in a legitimate home (see the minimum requirements for a villager home). Brown fuzzball with two black eyes, runs around quickly and doesn't follow the player, but attempts to stay in the house. If there is a farm outside, you can give it seeds, wheat, or other animal-breeding items and it will breed the animals in your farm as often as possible (until it runs out of materials). Can be configured to change if it can be summoned, how many times it can be summoned, and if other players can see when it is typed. Creature is invulnerable to damage. Has no spawn egg (due to abuse of invulnerable, peaceful mobs).
Nuppeppo - Small, flesh colored block. Spawns in caves and in Mesas. Jumps slowly and towards the player. It almost would be like a slime-slab, but flesh colored, with random pieces of netherrack on the outside, and two small dots for eyes. When near you, you gain Nausea for however long it is there. If you kill it (it only has 1 health), it drops itself as an item (Nuppeppo), which would look like a fleshy lump and give Nausea as long as it is in your inventory (Backpacks mod can fix this :D). It can then be surrounded with sugar to make a "De-Odorized Nuppeppo". Be warned, this item will become Nuppeppo again after 1 day. De-Odorized Nuppeppo can be eaten to give Regeneration III for 2 seconds and Nausea 4 for 5 minutes. (NOT WORTH IT. e-e) The De-Odorized Nuppeppo can be cooked and eaten for Nausea for 10 seconds and Regeneration II for 3 minutes (Better :D). The cooked version never reverts to Nuppeppo.
Aka Manto - Rarely replaces a Skeleton when spawned, it's simply a skeleton that follows you around for no reason. It holds red paper in one hand, and blue paper in the other. It drops red and blue paper at random intervals. If killed, it drops a mixture of 32-64 red and blue paper. These can be made into red books and blue books (default book recipe), red and blue book and quills (same recipe), and red and blue bookshelves. This is merely meant to add an asthetic to Minecraft and a funny mob that is peaceful. The red book does have higher enchantability, however, allowing you to get better enchantments easily. It has 100 health, and gets mad if you try to drop the paper or if you attack it. When angered, it floats 5 blocks in the air and fires red and blue paper at you at twice the speed of a skeleton (randomly chosen, and appear to be enchanted). The items don't drop on the ground. The red paper does 10 normal damage (affected by armor), and the blue paper does no damage, but applies Slowness III for 10 seconds.
Ghost Light - Spawns at random locations in the overworld, can be seen from far away. If the player gets within 20 blocks, it despawns. It can not be hurt, does not move, and is merely a Myth that adds an asthetic. (Ever heard of the Paulding Light in Michigan? I just thought it would be SO cool to have something like that. Also, it would have a spawn egg, but only a dispenser or command block could actually summon it, as it would just disappear otherwise. o3o)
Lemme know if you like any of my suggestions! Great mod, hope you add some of this!

I'm just hoping those things aren't mutually exclusive.( I like gardening witch is easier in 1.7...)) I like your suggestion making it approachable as well as invulnerable would be nice.
SUGGESTION:
How about a Tarasque?
Should have 20 health. But has a high armour stat.
Spawns in rivers and Forrest's.
Has the thorns effect applied punching it hurts you...probably hostile towards you and villagers.
Would move faster in water.
Possibly tamable when young?
i have a suggestion, in the config folder there should be that you can switch the new jackalope to the old jackalope. because i like the old Jackalopes it have a little better animation and the model makes it unique (same with the Wolpertinger.)

Lemme know if you like any of my suggestions! Great mod, hope you add some of this
I would say the weapons are not OP due to the fact they are very hard to obtain. To get the Dendroid Sword you have to have a boss battle. The Lyre is only OP on passive mobs. It will probably get a cool down in the future though so I see your point on that. And the Clay Golem has been nerfed for the next release of the mod. 1.6.4 Would be extremely hard to downgrade and honestly is not worth the time. 1.7.2 Release will be out this month hopefully. I like your suggestions. Will be sure to consider.
i have a suggestion, in the config folder there should be that you can switch the new jackalope to the old jackalope. because i like the old Jackalopes it have a little better animation and the model makes it unique (same with the Wolpertinger.)
You can get the Old Jackalope and Wolpertinger models by naming them UKdeccy or HoopAWolf.
I'm just hoping those things aren't mutually exclusive.( I like gardening witch is easier in 1.7...)) I like your suggestion making it approachable as well as invulnerable would be nice.

We shall see. I like the creature. Might make it a Mesa or Savanna creature Good suggestion.
Alright, I completely understand that. The coding difference, I could imagine. -slowly waits for everything to update-
Seriously, though, if my Reaper suggestion was added, especially if it was really close to that, I'd die of happiness. I'd delete every other mod just to play this one. And I'd even be willing to pay you to have a few of these ideas implemented if at all possible (no joke! PM me). That's my idea of the ultimate myth-mod enemy, and I honestly think the invulnerable part was insane. My other favorites are probably Domovoi and Aka Manto (because who doesn't want weird brown fuzzballs and skeletons with paper ).
I'll come up with more suggestions if you guys like, I'd love to support the mod and feed suggestions! I'll also link my friends to this page. It's just so cool, especially the Dendroid stuff. I still think the Dendroid Sword deals a bit too much damage, but meh. It's your mod, do what you want.
EDIT: Oh, forgot, Domovoi should also be toggleable for invincibility, so people don't abuse it on modpacks.
If you want the link to any of these mods, due to MCForum restrictions, you can't click to see the mod; instead, just search it. PM me for help.
Mod makers: Feel free to PM me if you want a signature, we can discuss it! They're normally free, though if you do special donator perks for your mod, I normally charge a small fee of gaining those donator perks. I find it to be a fair price. ^^
Awesome, thanks!
also 1.7.2 mods work with 1.7.10 forge most of the time so just change forge to 1.7.10 and add both 1.7.10 and 1.7.2 mods and is should work in most cases.
I take it that's why only 28 out of the 54 mods I was previously using currently work? So please redefine 'most'.
Plant Mega Pack was a major loss for me...
Lemme know once again.
http://www.youtube.com/user/DiamondDashGaming?feature=mhee
Maybe a cockatrice would make a good mob?
Probably 10 hearts, could rarely spawn from a chicken egg?
Has the ability to either poison or either the player.(perhaps slow them down as well?)
Should drop feathers and potions of poison.
Should spawn in Forrest's and plains.
Looks like a demonic chicken, pretty mutch.
Sorry! Got lost in the comments. Although I like it I think we already have another worm mob planned to be added. Perhaps we could make it a Pet?

Didn't I previously suggest a Cockatrice?
All ideas are welcome. People are going to suggest the same things. I will think about both.

This is the final form of the Blitsune. Kill mobs with the Blitsune and you will eventually be able to make him grow into the Battlesune!

I would say the weapons are not OP due to the fact they are very hard to obtain. To get the Dendroid Sword you have to have a boss battle. The Lyre is only OP on passive mobs. It will probably get a cool down in the future though so I see your point on that. And the Clay Golem has been nerfed for the next release of the mod. 1.6.4 Would be extremely hard to downgrade and honestly is not worth the time. 1.7.2 Release will be out this month hopefully. I like your suggestions. Will be sure to consider.
You can get the Old Jackalope and Wolpertinger models by naming them UKdeccy or HoopAWolf.

We shall see. I like the creature. Might make it a Mesa or Savanna creature Good suggestion.
