oh yea ntzrmtthihu777 did you fix scp 173 not running at people when you blink or turn around? found a glitch. when I pressed b to blink my game crashed. I have no mods installed just forge and scp craft
You managed to decompile and continue without me giving source code? O_O Bro, you are a god. Of course do whatever the [REDACTED] you want!!!! Good luck on it
The blood block was just a normal block with a bloody looking texture. It was the whole floor for 173s chamber.
Ah, kinda like using whole wool blocks for carpeting in older versions yes? So, considering the fact this mod is being revamped considerably, how would you guys feel about the blood block becoming a carpet-like block coating his floor, with reinforced iron making up the real floor?

Wouldn't call it a glitch so much as something I need to iron out. I'm adding new info into the EntityPlayer class via IExtendedEntityProperties and DataWatchers, saved to NBT, so its a bit complicated

i kinda love the idea for blood carpetlike blocks and a world gen facility(for that can you make it like a dungeon but with only a part of it on the surface)
and the old man is scp-106 i didn't remember earlier so i just remembered it

Ah, thanks. Working on redoing the setup here. I doubt anyone has made anything of great size regarding this mod's current version, which is just as well. I'll state it now, once I get the project layed out right like I want, it will break prior worlds.

hay want me to make a facility for the mod. i'm pretty good at building. i built an old facility but it broke cause it used a mod that went out of date. but i could make it just tell me the size you want it and i will make it in 1.7.10

That could be useful, lol. I am not sure how big one would want it, though.

Ok good so you don't have to do what the 1.4.6 version did.
Nope. In many ways this mod was way ahead of its time; it used base edits because the power we have in forge now simply did not exist back then. Events and Reflection give you so much power to change vanilla behavior without even touching the actual 1.7.10.jar file.

I can see this mod beginning to get very popular indeed. Since this is sort of a 'revamp' of the old mod the blood block should be suitable in carpet form. I guess it can't be called a blood 'block' anymore.
Yep. One thing I've enhanced the [REDACTED] out of is the documents/pearls. Used to be, in the old code, each and every one of them had a separate java class. You could imagine how huge that made the mod and how much code you'd have to update, yeah? Well, I've gotten it to where they are each the same class, but have a different item type based on the item damage, like how dye and spawn eggs do it. It also let me trim down the DocumentManager class significantly; instead of having to register each one as a recipe, I used a java for loop to iterate over each possible one and set the recipe.

Ah so thats why like no other mods were compatible with 1.4.6 after you installed the old SCPCraft.
Yeah, when you installed the old one, you overwrote base files with the edited ones from SCPCraft, and that would break some mods.
But, I'm doing alot of that using EventHandlers, IEntityExtendedPropertes, and DataWatchers, so that the base edits are not needed. Though, the DataWatcher can only handle 32 properties, and 20 of them are taken by vanilla, so one could see a conflict arise there, but I'll do my best to avoid that. Eventually I'll use Packets to syncronize the client and server without them, and that will prevent most conflicts.

Number?
Yep, I'm trying to make a good 1:1 port of existing features, though someone was making some very nice SCP models that I may include.
Still working on it.

Ok, but just remember, the current 1.7 version will not be compatible with the new one, so mayhaps you should give it a wait

Nevermind... Setting up a multiproject build with gradle was ticking me off, so looks like you guys are just in for one huge [REDACTED] mod

Download and drop in .minecraft/mods/1.7.10 after installing forge, that is all
