So, we have been doing some testing in my modpack and it turns out LaunchGUI has been causing inventory lag. Anytime players access any kind of inventory the FPS drops significantly.
We have enabled/disabled a large combination of mods to narrow it down and this mod is the one that once disabled the FPS drop disappears in-game. No crash logs since it isn't doing that, just a huge down-spike in FPS. Any chance you can take a look and see what may be the cause?
I was just about to post a topic similar to this. Noticed an "abnormal" FPS spiking on our server which we did not have prior to adding this mod. Narrowed it down to this.
Is there a text hosting site that allows a raw data page (with the pack version) link and you can still edit it
Basically, I need a site to have the version.txt so this mod can read the version number, but still be able to edit the number when my pack updates.
Help. (I've tried 13 diffrent text hosting websites, with all the stuff accept you can't edit the file, or this mod cant read the file. One site i've tryed is Dropbox, but that didn't work.)

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or perhas this feature isn't a part of this mod. When using the notice information text file I can't get it to display more than one line of text. Granted that line is word-wrapped into multiple lines, but if I use the "enter" key to insert a newline (to create separate paragraphs) it only displays the first one. If I try to use the \n like you would for the startup gui it simply displays "\n"

Sorry to wake this post up but I just have a simple question, Is it possible to see an example version.txt? The one the config links to doesn't work, and I am trying to setup a modpack to use this. Is the version.txt just the version number like

And you change the number whenever you need to when you have a new version up?

I'll look into the performance issues.
Ow, why not this mod is in 1.7.2? 75% of the best mods are in 1.7.10 and it rages a bit
Probably because 1.7.2 has been dead for over a year now. There is literally no reason to work on it.

Try the latest build. It was 2am when I added the \n support and guess I forgot the other two GUI's.
By opening the config and reading all the documentation in it
the Downloads for 1.8 dose not work
Edited with CurseForge link.

Correct. It's just a single line remote text file that has the pack's latest/recommended version in it.
Thanks for making this! Really nice!
Why isn't this mod being popular?
MY MODPACK! ~300 MODS! 1.10.2-1.12.2, 1.15.2!
Nice mod, you should add compatibility with minecraft color formatting codes!
i am using Minecraft color codes for long time and i love it
Cool.
