It is similar to dying hardened clay or glass. You put the pattern in the middle of 8 planks on the crafting table to create 8 painted planks.

Good suggestion though. Maybe I could make it appliable to already placed planks. Wouldn't be as efficient though with one pattern per one plank.

Just added an airbrush in v1.2 for applying patterns to already placed blocks. It does a few other things too. Check it out.

Added some optional animal friendly crafting recipes for feathers, ink, and leather.

Don't mind him man. He ask's that to every mod author there is in the minecraftforums. :/

This mod is now updated to Minecraft 1.10.2 and now supports planks from other mods.
