I seem to be having the issue of /time set-day and /time set-night not working, no matter what value is added, neither in-game or within the .cfg file. I'm using "1.7.10 Forge-10.13.0.1180" with the newest release of TooMuchTime. Tested all mods I had installed and the culprit was Better World Generation 4 - 1.2.1. Mod incompatible, just like it was with the old AdvanceTime mod which I assume this has replaced.
On a side note, /time stop does not work at all, even if TooMuchTime is the only mod installed.
I'm glad to see an update! I love time mods, and this one seems to be the best hope for 1.7.10.
However, this latest update isn't working for me on my server. The last one, I had the same stopped-time problem as everyone else. Now, players are unable to login and the server gives this error (but does not crash entirely) for each login attempt:

I have the same "Cannot Hotload Dim" error here when trying to return to the overworld from the nether. I can enter and exit the nether once just fine, but any additional attempts without restarting minecraft and/or the server crash with this error when returning to the overworld. Using Forge 1208. So far the only fix seems to be to remove the mod.
For me, nothin works at the moment. I tried a sp world and a copy of my server. The game does not react on changes of the cycle length but it is changing in the config file. I´m using forge 1207 with these mods:
Edit:
Without any of these mods it is working fine. I will try to find out which mod causes this issue.
Edit 2:
#1 Biomes O Plenty brings it back to normal time
I test every single mod at the moment (adding mods to a new instance). Biomes O Plenty seems to be the only problem atm. I will answer in a few more minutes when all mods are tested.

Is there (even a very very small) chance of the updated version going to 1.6.4? I know it's an old version, & we all need to move to 1.7... & I have-- for everything except TerraFirmaCraft.
Not interfering with the world tick time is very important in TFC; why I'd prefer to use this over TimeScaler if possible.
Longer days & longer nights is dearly wanted; I tried doing it myself but it was a disaster! Realistically; syncing with real-life's time would be ideal-- however TFC handles time differently so while it may be possible I wouldn't expect you to do that. Extending the days/nights would be good enough for me.
If you don't wish to backport the mod to 1.6.4; don't worry about it! It's not a big deal & I don't want to cause a lot of work.
just tryed on server with the last forge: 10.13.1.1217 and only with TooMuchTime mod 1.7.10-2.3.2.B13 and i still have the same issue, after 1 minute console say: [FML]: Unloading dimension 0 and nobody can login.
good stuff though, would be awesome to have it work multiplayer server.
Here's the source code for TimeScaler. It has some features that might be useful to you. I apologize in advance for the mess.
Keep up the good work!

How should the config look like if I want infinite night?

Server runs fine.
One question: Can I run this mod on the server only or clients need it too?
edit2: client is required but thats ok ^^
