The ENCHVIL MOD
Adds a mystical table that can take enchantments off of weapons.
A mod that combines the functionality of the enchantment table and the anvil,
by inverting them and allowing you to separate tools and their enchantments, for a price.
CRAFTING RECIPE Without further ado, the crafting recipe!
HOW IT WORKS?
Well...it's simpler than you think!
Start by placing an enchanted item in the left slot,
now it's time to choose between the enchanted book and the item.
If you chose the enchanted book, insert a book in the middle top slot and take the enchanted book.
If you chose the item, just take
However, you can take only one of them(book or item) so choose wisely.
In addition, to balance it out, it works only on fixed items, not damaged.
*Requires Forge! (1.7.2-10.12.1.1060 or higher)
*This mod was built on Forge 1.7.2 BUT it works on Forge 1.7.10 as well!

Does the item have to be fully repaired in order to remove the enchants? I would like to use this to rescue the enchants from items that can no longer be repaired due to the anvil limit.
I agree with the book slot idea otherwise it is free books for days.
Would it be possible to have a config option to just remove one enchant at a time (chosen at random from the remaining enchants on the item), which would make it a bit more expensive (more books needed), but also more useful as it can then be use to remove unwanted enchants from items.
I was playing on a server and picked up a brand new diamond sword someone had thrown away as it had the dreaded Bane of Arthropods IV, LOL. I keep it as a reminder that vanilla enchanting sucks!

Thanks, and yes the item have to be fully repaired, because it will be kinda op by removing enchants from high damaged items.

Well, that's not a bad idea... I'll think about that.
I would happy to add more lang files but the main problem is that I don't really know what's written.
No offense but I'm not going to add lang files for now.
Maybe next update I'll add your lang file and add a bunch of other languages.

I find that I have a lot of books with lots of enchantments that are hard to mix n match though, how about a feature where if I put one of those books in I can spend levels to break that book down into 1 of 2 books, randomly assigning the enchantments with no preview, so it's a bit of a gamble, then I pick one book and lose the enchants on the other(kinda matching the keep the enchants or keep the item mechanic).
