This mod aims to add some more wacky gizmos and gadgets to help you get along in the Minecraft world. Making use of the Baubles API/Mod by Azanor.
The mod is pretty simple at the moment, but there is a possibility of more unique and powerful items coming down the line.
WARNING: 1.1.0 CHANGES HOW POTION AMULETS ARE HANDLED. ANY ALREADY IN WORLD WILL NOT WORK IN 1.1.0
* Banned health and regeneration potion baubles by default
* Better recipe handling for Iron/Silver bottles
* Added brewing recipe for silver
* Added Ring potion bauble
* Bug fixes
Minecraft has long had the ability to brew potions, but who wants to lug all those bottles around? Well, here in the alchemical laboratories we've come up with an ingenious way to infuse silver with the properties of your average potion. We now offer a select line of fine jewelry that will give the wearer the unique effect one comes to expect from drinking potions.
YES THIS WILL WORK WITH MODDED POTIONS! JUST FYI!
Along with the more amazing discovery of infusing silver, we've also discovered a way to create silver from lesser elements.
Simply start by taking a simple piece of iron, and somehow making it fit inside a glass bottle
Recipe is shapeless, and can handle any EQUAL number of bottles and ingots
Next, heat it in your average furnace until it reaches a liquid state
Finally, add a ghast tear and a pinch of glowstone dust to the bottle via a brewing stand.
It's then a simple matter of getting the silver out of the bottle
Crafting a Bauble
Crafting a bauble is simple, and takes no skill what-so-ever. Simply place the required components in a crafting grid, as shown below. Any already brewed potion is required to act as a catalyst to accelerate the infusion process
Infusing your Bauble:
Simply place your newly crafted bauble on the ground, and dump your freshly brewed potion on top of it (splash potions are required for a rapid infusion process)
And there you have it. One freshly infused magical bauble, ready to fulfill all your magical needs!
A blacklist can be found in the config (AlchBling.cfg) that allows for the toggling of any registered potion. Instant Health and Regeneration potions are disabled by default
Much thanks to CyanideX for the wonderful art that goes into all my mods!
Regarding Mod Packs: I've had a lot of people ask me about mod packs lately, so this is my official say on the matter.Permission is automatically granted, unless a mod pack is found to be breaking a mod's license/the author's wishes regarding packs, in which case permission is automatically revoked.
