I been looking for an updated video tutorial that adds new info from older versions. Like the power poles. I haven't figured out how to use them and I can't find any videos that are less then a year old and in English. I tried to get someone that's good at his video tutorials and he never did them. I wanted to make a power station and then send that power out on poles.
To attach electrical wiring to electric poles, you need the AC/DC variant.
Use High Voltage wiring, though.
To connect the AC/DC electric pole to other poles, you'll need a crapton of high voltage wires. Right click each pole with the wiring (a stack of it) and right click other poles to connect them.
The Electric Poles are for transmitting power across long distances, and output/input power correctly at the High Voltage level, meaning you'll have to step up/step down the voltage with transformers just before you connect them to the AC/DC poles.

We're still only on 1.7.10. To squash rumors of 1.10; we're not doing it. There are no available testing jars for 1.10 or 1.12.
1.12 port is in progress. It's *very* slow work since the mod is so big and complex, plus we're jumping over like a dozen major versions with major changes. We'd love some more (knowledgeable) developers to get the work done (find us on the GitHub). We'd also love translators!
@Tyras91 In terms of is it being worked on with new content or ported then yes it is dead. But you can still use it and have fun with it. I still use Cogs of the Machine and other mods from 1.7.10 from time to time alongside other new 1.7.10 mods even with no new content from them.

I've also been doing some (unofficial) feature updates that will probably find their way to 1.12, the source code can be found here:

There are also jars available! 1.15.3 is the latest stable: 1.16.x is pretty broken right now. Ask questions in the Discord above.

Is this mod completely dead?
