btw. I'm trying to find out how to make alloy plates.. I thought it would be the plating machine, but it doesn't do anything nor any of the other machine o.o
You need a "Tree Resin Collector" and then you have to smelt it in a furnace
I think i must add some specific electrical age item into some recipe, as you say for machine block ^^

I see huge possibilities in this mod. It really awesome your team is trying to go with a realistic simulation of electricity with capacitance and resistance. Have you guys thought about really going all out and making it a complete simulation of real world electricity? Like simulating AC. Then you could use electromagnetic induction and that could add both transformers and inductors. Converting between AC and DC and between currents would be easy then. Transducers could be the way to "bridge" the gap between mods' varied power even though obviously the coding behind the mod conversion isn't that simple, but that could be the method.
Things like diodes and transistors could follow, and then it's an entire electrical simulation. I guess that's what really get's me going with the potentialities of this mod. We all had to learn stupid redstone mechanics as well as the principles of electricity to be masterful with it. This is such a straightfoward way, if it is approachable to people, it could develop into concepts as powerful as Eloraam's CPU. People could redesign the electrical world in Minecraft.
If all this electrical Jargon went over your head, I'm sorry, but I bet you could do it if you got this far it's really not that hard. Reika has done some amazing things by simply using a class of physics equations. If it seems boggling, I know he is familiar with these concepts and could be a valuable resource. So excited to see where this will go!

Also, maybe the components could be like tiers so there is a motivation to get them. Like vacuum tubes could be the lowest and it could move up the "knowledge tree" to modern circuit types. DC, then AC, then 3 phase electric motors could also be tiers with each successive one stronger. There are so many possible ideas! Make elevators using Lenz's law. Particle Accelerators, encoders, carrier signals, decoders, analog to digital converters, and amplitude and frequency modulated signals. Not even to mention signal processing in itself. Sine, square and all the others. Oscillators and timers more accurate than other mods could come close to.

All these work are in our competence's domaine. We constantly do balance between complexity / realism / accessibility.
Actualy we do a complet rework of the electrical simulation model to do that with MNA technic. that take time XD
I think "tech tree" is a good idea. And to unlock tech, you must spend energy and materials. that juste need to be implemented.
All in done in DC because AC need a to high simulation frequancy, and as some problem like generator phase syncronisation.
The main goal is not to make the most realistic possible simulation model. but the goal is to give a maximum possibilities of controle, regulation, monitoring with a near from reality model. As you can see on screen shot, there is the notion of signals, that are simulated with electricitiy and that give the possibility to reguate some parts.
The mod is in beta, looooot of thing are in todo list
1) yes there is i bug, i have discover it, thanks to you ^^ (in todolist)
2,3) I think because you map don't allow cheats, you can't enter console command. I must add into mod configuration file the possibilities to force oreregen.

Because actual lead spawn parameter are : 8 groupe per chunk, each groupe is between 3 and 9 lead block. but the most important is that only spawn bettween 0 < y < 24

A new electrical simulator, That remove all bad side of the old simulator. Now cables retain zero energy. When you cut off a switch, all connected consumer instantly shutdown : D

One issue from precedent release (and i'm sur that has not desappear into this release) is a crash when you are into GUI. That seem to be a mod conflict with some unknow other mods).
If that appear, please tell me what are your installed mod and the exacte case where the crash happend
This is a big ask but in the next update could you add a book that has every block in the mod in and a really in depth explanation of what that block does? loads of mods have tutorial books that are really helpful and can be refrenced back later so please could you add this

Actualy i redo the wireless part and button part of the mod to permit more friendly construct :
wireless repeater repeate all channel in rangeand each receptor can aggregate all TX signals in range by multiple methode
For example, it can take the biggest signal level
For example, it can consider that each signal source is a event, and toogle output at each event
(usefule for hous light button signal)
additionaly, a pulse signal button was added
Additionnaly, i must add interpolability to the mod ^^
If guy are motivated to participate to the project, especialy for the wiki / documentation / sournd / 3D model / GUI, they are welcome : D
