These shaders are pretty... Real pretty... Will you be making higher resolution shadows? So i dont have to use the res-multiplier that is built in the ShadersMod?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I do textures... Hit me if you want some... They are all free and vanilla quality like...

Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm pretty booked this week, but I'll see what I can do with the resolution as soon as possible. i'm very glad you like the shader!
And also, The reflections 'studder' and shake whenever i walk and the hand has no shading whatsoever... You could make a Depth of Field version aswell... And things like torches in hand lighting the place up would be a nice addition too...

Check the downloads section for a Better Shadows version. The shadows are significantly better resolution. It is currently available only in the Standard Edition version of FS Vivid. Let me know if you want it in Crystal Waters Edition too! NOTE: The shadows are better resolution, but in order to keep my promise of performance friendly, they aren't razor sharp shadows, but they are significantly better resolution in my opinion.
REFLECTIONS TIP: The reflections tend to stay still when you aren't moving and ripple (sometimes awkwardly) when you do move. This effect can be CLEARLY seen when time is completely stopped. Can you be more specific about when the stutter occurs?
HAND SHADING: I purposefully intended the hand and held objects to have no lighting. I find is easier to see the current item your holding. If you want, I can try to make a shaded hand version.
TORCHES: Torches cannot produce light when held in your hand in any version of Vanilla Minecraft. This requires a mod or a plugin, and usually cannot be achieved through shaders, unfortunately. I personally agree with you that held torches producing light is a very nice touch. Use a torch mod at the same time while using the shader, and it should be fine. I suggest this one, I use it myself!
DEPTH OF FIELD: Depth of Field is something I'm working on, as it is one of my favorite shader types. It does require a lot more dedicated time than other shader types. I'll release one eventually though!

Relfectionstuffs:
The reflections bump up and down in a wierd unpleasing way that it looks as if there was a silly fps problem with the watershading whevenever i walk around, towards or away from water...
Handheld items and the hand itself:
You could still make it have the simple shading, so it doesnt look completly out of place... But the idea is nice :3
Handheld Light:
CUDA shaders and SEUS have the feature where whenever you hold a glowing object, be it vanilla or mod, it illuminates a small radius around you with a clientside camera glow... Basicaly it wont make your character glow, but your camera, with really smooth and definetly low resource taking light...
DOF:
Nice :3, I can't wait to see that with these fantasy like shaders...

- Specifically what version do you use? Standard or Crystal Waters.
- I will try to add some simple lighting/shading to the hand and held objects.
The Standart one, since it looks better than the crystal waters one...
Okay, thank you. I'll work on that later on today. I just finished the Deluxe Edition of the shader, with slightly better reflections. I think that the reflections are fixed in that edition. Try it out and let me know.
