Can someone please tell me the id's because it clashes with cfm but I cant delete it to run minecraft with only this mod to get the config files so I can change the id's and if I get the id's I can just change them straight from the cfm config which I've got already.Then I can finally enjoy this mod!
The 1.6.4 version of my mod doesn't have configuration file, so you won't be able to change the block IDs for it. However, if the other mod conflicting have the possibility to remap, here are the IDs I used for 1.6.4 :
It still doesn't lie. I wonder if you have multiple Java versions installed. Go to your Minecraft launcher and edit your profile and check the executable under Java settings. Locate the javaw.exe file of Java 8 and get the file path. Paste it on the textbox beside the checkbox then save. Hopefully, it will work.
I run a mac on osx. maybe you run windows?

Love this mod, put it in my mods folder One big problem: no crashes (phew :D, I've had lots of crashes with other mods, and it took a while to find the mod to uninstall), but, no blocks show up when I search them or look for them! Is it because of another mod, or something? Thanks, and I'm glad you're pretty much the only modmaker that keeps up with the forum. I've visited many mods' forum pages, and the last time they posted was a couple months ago or more :l but just take your time with the problem (if there is one, and let me know if I did something wrong, e.g. installed it wrong). Thanks! [Excuse my typing error at the start of this paragraph; when I try clicking back, it highlights it, and when I try typing a letter, it removes the one in front. It's very tedious, but I know it's not a big deal anyway

The character replacement problem appears when you press Insert on the keyboard (or Shift+0 on the keypad) =).
As for the mod problem, did you download both MalisisDoors and MalisisCore? Do then show up in the mod list when you launch Minecraft ? Either way, if the blocks still don't show up, please provide more informations by posting FML log.

It seems that Smart Moving conflicts with Vanishing Frames. Whenever I walk through powered vanishing frames, it still acts like a wall. But when I sprint, I can squeeze (takes you about 3 seconds) through the vanishing frames.

Hahaha, I can't believe I only downloaded Malisis Core what a silly mistake, I'll try it again with the doors mod.
EDIT: It's working, and so is the block mixer! Just one idea (and I know this might be a hard thing to accomplish): maybe when the block is mixed it takes the first half of the name of the block to the left and the last half of the block to the right and combines it? I've seen on a vanilla server that there is this 2 person game fighting other 2 people and their names are combined! I just thought it might be a cool thing to add.
EDIT #2: I made a block that was a jack-o-lantern and birch log mixed, and when I placed it, 3 of the sides were the jack-o-lantern and the other 3 were birch. Nothing was mixed, just split the textures on the sides in half... :l Any suggestions? Plus, the lighting's a bit odd on it. But, despite all that, I am also super happy that it can mix blocks from other mods!
I had a hard time trying to figure out HOW to explain what was going on trying to install this mod. So, I used screen recorder to -show- what was going on. First, it shows the mod and core installed, MC Launcher loading (trying to load ) and only kicking back to the Launcher; not game. Then, showed the removal of the mod and core from mods folder and the Launcher now loading to screen fine. Sorry for the cursor/folder/app lag in the video. I suspect it was it was due to the screen recorder (my bad XD ).
As you see in the video:
With the MALISISDOORS 1.7.2-0.6.4 mod installed, MC Launcher would not load past 'Play' screen.
With the mod and core UNinstalled, it worked if .
I've tried numerous ways of getting the mod to work per forum install instructions, all failed. I tried removing ALL other mods to remove possibility of other mods and/or mod cores conflicting with MALISISDOORS 1.7.2-0.6.4 and trying Launcher. Fail.

Can you provide a screenshot showing what happens? Also, do you have Optifine or GLSL Shaders installed?

Once again, you need Java 7 to use my mod. Please update your Java.
I don't use Optifine nor shaders, and I don't have a clue how to post a picture... any suggestions on how? Oh, I may have an idea, but it involves no picture.
(The sides don't blend colors, FYI, like they should)
Top side is birch wood, and 2 sides are birch wood, too. Pumpkin is on the bottom side and the 2 other sides. If you have an idea on how to post a pic for me, that might give a better idea. Thanks!

And for those of you having problems with Java 7 on Mac OS X, here's the solution.
1. Download Oracle Java 7 (or 8 if you want) from this link. Note that this is the Dev Kit (JDK), not the one you install in your browser (SE).
2. Open the .dmg after downloading and double-click the package to install.
3. After finishing, you'll need to find where it was installed. The default path for version 1.7.0 Update 60 is:
4. Now, open the Minecraft Launcher and click the "Edit Profile" button. Make sure the profile where you installed the mods is selected, that's the one you'll want to edit.
5. At the bottom of the window you'll see a section called "Java Settings (Advanced)". Mark the first checkbox in this section and then type (or paste) the directory where Java 7 is installed.
6. Save the profile and you're done. It should work now.
Some notes:
If you install a different version of Java, the directory will change. So, for Java 8, the folder would be called "jdk1.8.0_05.jdk".
This new Java installation will not (or should not) override the original Apple version that is in your system.
For Windows users: I think the process is similar to this, but can't say for sure...
Hope this helps. =)

Q: If a picture tells a thousand words, how many words does a movie tell? A: 216 million words!
instant bookmark! I really hope this mod gets bigger.. here's some diamond ore for you! (mixed with a TNT block that is) (well, supposably )
here's an idea: wait... what was it...... ah! got it! would you be able to add sensors that are activated only by mobs? and one activated by mobs & humans? thanks! and a g'day/night to you!
It's a bug I already corrected for the next update. When you look at a vanishing frame, it sets the same bounding box for all others. Hopefully, the plans I have for the "final" version will compensate for the wait =)
Thanks for the fix, Ordinastie. Can't wait for the update.
Nice mod! CaptainSparklez even made a showcase video (in which he found a bug)! I'd download without further thinking, but unfortunately, the mod is 1.7, and my modded survival world is 1.6
I think this is a bad idea. Vanishing frames are TileEntities, so if you put too many, it'll probably crash your game.
Until the next update, you shouldn't try your luck too hard when mixing blocks. There are no real failsafe for unusual blocks yet.
The 1.6.4 version of my mod doesn't have configuration file, so you won't be able to change the block IDs for it. However, if the other mod conflicting have the possibility to remap, here are the IDs I used for 1.6.4 :
woodSlidingDoor = 500
ironSlidingDoor = 501
playerSensor = 502
vanishingBlock = 503

/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_60.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java
A: 216 million words!
here's an idea: wait... what was it...... ah! got it! would you be able to add sensors that are activated only by mobs? and one activated by mobs & humans? thanks! and a g'day/night to you!
Thanks for the fix, Ordinastie. Can't wait for the update.
Also Captain Sparkelz did a mod review of you mod if you didn't know already (you can find it here: )
