Ordinastie, i really like the new space doors and I really appreciate your hard work, but I'd like to ask you if you have solved the error related to the fence gates. Will be fixed in the next release?
I made somes changes the way doors are handled, but as I don't know what caused the issue in the first place, I can't be sure it will be corrected. As this point, the best thing to do is cross your fingers and hope for the best

When you place a GarageDoor Block, you need to be "inside" as the block will move towards you. You also need to keep in mind that the block, will take the same direction as the block above or below if there is one, to facilitate placing them. So you only need to be careful when placing the first block for each column. Contrary to regular doors, the "frame" have no impact on the direction.
I found a bug with custom doors... I used Door Factory and made doors that are "Sliding Four Ways", you can only pass through this doors when opening/closing animation is running, when animation finishes cant go through even when they are open.
Also when you brake block that doors are placed on, doors just disappear.
... Door Factory and Block Mixer are instantly destroyed with one leftclick on survival mode.

The door factory is a self powered machine that lets you design your own doors. Chose their properties such as the type of movement (from ten available!), the sound, or the speed of their animation, and then select blocks for the frame, top and bottom materials to define how they look.
The top and bottom material also accepts a few items for special effects :
- Flint & steel gives a fire effect.
- Ender pearl displays nether portal animation.
- Water bucket displays flowing water.
- Lave bucket displays flowing lava.

This update for this mod is awesome, and I'm defiently going to be using this in my 1.7.10 modpack! But I do have one issue here:

Are you telling me that since the begining, the fence gate bug is happening only when you go on Vanilla servers with MalisisDoors on the client ?
yes and no the bug where you can't walk through the gate when open was for ssp, and the bug where you cant open it was vanilla servers with the mod on client

MalisisDoors is a client AND server mod, so it's not supposed to work when connecting on a server that doesn't have the mod installed.

Probably won't fix your current problem but you should probably update your version of Java, it is well over 2 years old. You are putting your computer at risk of malware, etc.. And sometimes it can fix game problems as well. You are using java 7 update 5, at least update to "7 update 67"

Both of you had the same crash, but wrong analysis ;). It's a bug I unfortunately introduced when fixing another one concerning slots in GUIs. So it's still as 1.7.10 friendly as it can get. The bug is corrected now in MalisisCore 1.7.2-0.9.1. You don't need to re-download MalisisDoors jar.

no problem, and okay then. the latest version of NEI and CodeChickenCore always seems to crash my game for some reason.
Oh, and do you plan to make the Door Factory more 1.7.10 friendly? The entire mod works perfectly with 1.7.10, excluding the Door Factory. When I put my Oak Wood block as the frame of the door, the game crashed with this message:

Probably won't fix your current problem but you should probably update your version of Java, it is well over 2 years old. You are putting your computer at risk of malware, etc.. And sometimes it can fix game problems as well. You are using java 7 update 5, at least update to "7 update 67"

Curse PremiumWithout any crash log, you can't get any help.
Both of you had the same crash, but wrong analysis ;). It's a bug I unfortunately introduced when fixing another one concerning slots in GUIs. So it's still as 1.7.10 friendly as it can get. The bug is corrected now in MalisisCore 1.7.2-0.9.1. You don't need to re-download MalisisDoors jar.
