I thought that's what it did by it's description, but when i changed the option vanilla doors acted as if they were disabled. I got purple and black textures on any vanilla doors already placed, and when I tried to find any vanilla doors in creative they did not even show up when i searched for them.
I reported this months ago but don't know what came out of it. It was about every door was brighter than their original texture. Fencegates most noticeable or custom doors with own textures on them. This is still an issue. Anyway to fix this? What's causing this?
I found an odd glitch that whenever I load up a world that previously had doors, I have to look at them for them to be visible. I think it may be a problem with Optifine, but I'm not sure.
Has eliminado el item "Player sensor"? He actualizado desde la versión 1.7.10 a la 1.12.2 y no lo veo. Era un ítem muy útil para mí. Espero su respuesta, gracias.
You have removed the item "Player sensor"? I have updated from version 1.7.10 to 1.12.2 and I do not see it. It was a very useful item for me. I await your response, thanks.
I'm running into a problem with malisisdoors-1.12.2-7.3.0 (using malisiscore-1.12.2-6.4.0.jar, forge-1.12.2-14.23.2.2654) with the carriage and medieval doors. I can craft the doors, but no matter what block (vanilla or modded) I use for the frame, the resulting door has only the actual door part with no frame structure around it. The door works perfectly aside from the fact it's kinda hanging in space.
I love the new 3x3 doors, by the way. I can already predict I'll be using those a lot. I'm working on 256x textures for them. Done the iron door and dark oak door so far, both of which I admit I shamelessly upscaled from the relevant Mojokraft vanilla door textures which are completely freaking awesome, but I'll be doing original textures from scratch for the remaining four.
The rusting of the rusty iron door could probably be improved. The rusty iron currently looks almost more copper-washed than rusty. Dark oak and iron door textures rescaled from MojoKraft v16 vanilla doors, all credit for those textures to MojoKraft. (NICE work on those, guys.)
Currently these are part of my unified CaerCraft 1.12 resource pack. I will split out the doors (along with my 128x carriage door textures, once carriage doors are working properly in 1.12) into a separate pack shortly.

On further testing, this may be an Optifine interaction. I'm about to retest without Optifine. I am also finding that the hi-tech door and rusty hatch render solid black, and the rusty iron ladder is invisible, using either an outside shader or only the Optifine internal shader (it was not in 1.10.2, with Optifine and the same shader I'm using now).

Confirmed.
No optifine: all work fine
OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_D1, internal shader: Rusty ladder invisible, surround of carriage and medieval doors invisible, surround of rusty hatch invisible
Optifine plus shader (a very small and lightweight shader): Rusty ladder invisible, surround of carriage and medieval doors invisible, rusty hatch and hi-tech door render solid black
Also, and this is kinda weird, when I broke the hatch (with Optifine active), I had to break 12 blocks (most of them invisible) and got 12 hatches back.
At least remove the shining. That alone should improve the look.
Difficult to do without blurring detail, actually. But I do have a second-pass revision that I'll try out in-world later today. I think I've also managed to get it less coppery.
OK, so. Re-edit on the rusty iron door. Screenshot without OptiFine this time, since not only is it causing rendering problems with some of the doors, but since updating to Java 8u171 Optifine has once again become utterly crashtastic, I can't run with Optifine for more than a few minutes at a time even on just the internal shader without it hard-crashing the entire JVM.

Huh, I'm on that Java and run Optifine, yet it's fine for me. You sure you're running the latest 1.12.2 OF?
Also, looks awesome, maybe mix that rusty texture with the regular iron door texture, to make it look more rusted? You know, have a mix of unrusted and rusted metal?
I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

Huh, any other mods that could be conflicting?

Hey I'm playing a large mod pack on 1.10.2 using 5.1.5 (edit sorry 5.2.0) of your mod I've made a few of the medieval doors but when they are closed i can walk through the right side of the door is this a known bug is there a way to fix it?

Is there a way to change the color of the garage door? I want to spice things up a bit! I want it to be GREY!
Door factory?
Can handle ONLY common doors. Excluding stock wooden and iron.

Get MalisisBlocks module, it's there.

Well, lots of other mods, but nothing that ... hmm. Unless maybe BetterFPS?
I'll try removing BetterFPS.
