In castles and keeps they often have portcullis and drawbridges and big wooden gates. Is it possible to add those to the pack? i surely miss them a lot in my buildings, Having to resort to tiny doors.
OK, i performed reset to all video settings, and using no shader
the doors displays OK now
what can be the reason?? specific setting or the shader itself?
EDIT1: well it's my shader (Chocapic13 V7 Extreme RC1)
when it's turned on, i get the bug instantly and every setting i choose doesn't effect it
can someone recommend me a WORKING shaderpack that displays the doors OK?
EDIT2: Reverted to Chocapic13 V6 Extreme shader and it runs good
but the shader is older and don't have all the additions in the V7 version
the solution should be a resourcepack that includes textures for this mod.
i.e , biomes o plenty mod has it own built in models and textures, no matter what configuration i throw at it, it works every time, and no texture is missing.
maybe the author of this mod should ask the author of BoP mod how he achieve this?
let me know
thx
FINAL EDIT: well, seems SEUS shader has been updated and i didn't saw it, downloaded latest version (renewed 1.0) and it's amazing... all textures are in and the details oh god!
see relevant picture (at night)
anyway, thank you for this wonderful mod. case closed for now
I am thinking of creating a modpack and, I was wondering if I can use this mod for it.
No restriction, as seen on the main post.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
To take the test, check out https://minecraftnoobtest.com/test.php
- Fixed possible crash with Rusty Hatch.
- Fixed item sometimes not dropping when breaking doors.
- Fixed typo in registry name for Birch Fence Gate which prevented vanilla ones from animating.
- Fixed possible when rendering doors.
- Improved performances when lots of doors and trapdoors were used in world.
Note : the fence gate fix means that if animated Birch Fence Gates in the world will just disappear (they were only obtainable from Creative inventory). The vanilla non animated ones will automatically become animated ones.
- Integrated BigDoors mod (previously found here).
You now have access to various 3x3 doors courtesy of jaquadro.
- Fixed fence gate not reacting to redstone.
- Integrated BigDoors mod (previously found here).

- Fixed inventory issues when in DoorFactory gui.
Awesome, love the big doors. The Doom-style high-tech door will be perfect for my GC4 space station.

Request for 2 additional variants of the High Tech Door...
1. Locked when Redstone power is applied to the lower middle block - Catch turns red instead of default green, Can only be opened by hand when green - adding power closes and locks it.
^ Useful for securing labs, air locks etc.
2. Redstone powered only - Catch is red unless power is applied to the lower middle block - Can't be opened by hand.just like an Iron door.
^ Useful for Elevator/Lift shafts, securing vaults, etc.
I hope these could be added, and/or the Door Factory could be adjusted to make the custom option variants with both the High Tech and the other Big Door 3 x 3 Variants.
I'm getting a NullPointerException with the latest MalisisDoors and MalisisCore. I've tried it with both the latest Forge (1.12.2-14.23.2.2615) and the listed minimum (1.12.2-14.23.1.2589). Am I missing a dependency or something?

Crash report:
Looks like the game can't acces the Minecraft folder. The mod needs to write a font/ folder inside the Minecraft run directory.
Thank you! I don't know what the issue is with Minecraft's folder permissions, but if I try it in a different folder it works again. Fixed another mod not working as well.

I'd back up your mods, configs and saves, then reinstall minecraft. Might fix the folder issue.

That was a fresh install. When I tried it again with different forge versions, I deleted the whole .minecraft folder and reinstalled everything from scratch each time. MPUtils also crashes, I think for the same reason because it appears to also need to write to a folder. If I try dropping them into a 1.12.2 Technic modpack folder, however, both mods run fine. It seems to be an issue specifically with my .minecraft folder, but I've compared the permissions in both folders, and they're the same. I'm completely bamboozled.

In that case, maybe Google some tips on how to allow your computer's user account to modify that folder. Should be under the security settings (right click the folder, click properties, security tab).

This mod causes massive amounts of lag on a server if a player is near or in a village, causing the player to lag out. Otherwise it is amazing, i wish you would add a line to the config to disable animations for vanilla doors so I could incorporate this mod on my server.

There already is a config option to disable the vanilla door replacement.

In castles and keeps they often have portcullis and drawbridges and big wooden gates. Is it possible to add those to the pack? i surely miss them a lot in my buildings, Having to resort to tiny doors.
got this bug when playing latest version
i'm on MC 1.12.2 , latest forge, optifine, and Chocapic13 V7 Extreme RC1 shader
it happens on vanilla also so idk.
every door i'm holding or seeing displays as bright light!
what gives?
OK, i performed reset to all video settings, and using no shader
the doors displays OK now
what can be the reason?? specific setting or the shader itself?
EDIT1: well it's my shader (Chocapic13 V7 Extreme RC1)
when it's turned on, i get the bug instantly and every setting i choose doesn't effect it
can someone recommend me a WORKING shaderpack that displays the doors OK?
EDIT2: Reverted to Chocapic13 V6 Extreme shader and it runs good
but the shader is older and don't have all the additions in the V7 version
the solution should be a resourcepack that includes textures for this mod.
i.e , biomes o plenty mod has it own built in models and textures, no matter what configuration i throw at it, it works every time, and no texture is missing.
maybe the author of this mod should ask the author of BoP mod how he achieve this?
let me know

Thanks (Hopefully).
I'm getting a NullPointerException with the latest MalisisDoors and MalisisCore. I've tried it with both the latest Forge (1.12.2-14.23.2.2615) and the listed minimum (1.12.2-14.23.1.2589). Am I missing a dependency or something?

Looks like the game can't acces the Minecraft folder. The mod needs to write a font/ folder inside the Minecraft run directory.

Thank you! I don't know what the issue is with Minecraft's folder permissions, but if I try it in a different folder it works again. Fixed another mod not working as well.
I'd back up your mods, configs and saves, then reinstall minecraft. Might fix the folder issue.
I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
