Hey, Ordinastie — I just discovered a really curious bug running on 1.10.2. With Core 1.9.2-4.0.1 and Doors 1.9.4-5.0.1 installed, the doors work fine. Add Blocks 1.9.4-4.0.1, and the doors stop animating, but still work. You right-click a door, it opens, you hear it open, you can find the wireframe selection box and see that it's open, you can walk through it — but it still looks closed. Remove Blocks, and the doors behave normally again.
Does it happen in SSP ? Also, can you post client log for when it doesn't work ?

It's weird. I didn't actually test fence gate animation when I encountered the door animation problem. Perhaps I should have. Seems the Forge fix fixed the doors, but I don't know whether it didn't fix a fence gate problem, or whether the fix caused the fence gate problem. I also haven't retested yet with Blocks removed again to see if the fence gate issue only happens with Blocks installed, like the door animation problem did.

Actually, the issue is the same for doors, but was just random (decided on client startup) so kinda hard to debug. But I found the problem and will be releasing a fix soon. Thanks for your reports
- Fixed doors animations not always working when connected to a dedicated server
- Fixed Forcefield syncing from the server
- Fixed texture warnings in the log
- Fixed BigDoor recipe warning in the log

I will test that and report back shortly.
Unable to reproduce in SSP.
However, a defect I can reproduce in SSP (but forgot to mention previously) is that in 1.10.2, door inventory items have no texture.
The client log in SMP is full of the following and practically nothing else:
Ok, so apparently, there was a bug in Forge that has just been fixed. Can you test again with latest version of Forge (2045) ?

OMG! I am so done with vanilla doors and so glad my daughter had me try this mod.
No problem. Testing... (server starts up SO much faster than client...)
Door item textures are still missing with Forge 2045.
But the animations work again ? Also, the texture issues, does it happen with only MalisisDoors installed ?

Oh. Um. Let me test door animations with Blocks installed tomorrow. I thought that referred only to the textures.
I don't have a 1.10.2 server set up without MalisisDoors right now, that'll take me a little longer. I'll try to get to it tomorrow again.
OK, retests.
Test 1 — Forge 2045 with Malisis Blocks reinstalled: Door animation now works as expected. So that problem was the Forge bug.
Test 2 — With all Malisis mods removed from the server, vanilla doors have item textures again as expected.
Um .... I spoke too soon. Now fence gates are failing to animate.
Stop breaking everything! ><
