The translucent effect observed on the high-tech door with shaders is kinda ... interesting. Kinda makes it look even higher tech, like maybe it's made of hard light...
That's all fine and good, except I've been quite unable to get the High-Tech doors to respond to redstone in any capacity. Either via the player sensor, button, lever, wire, or repeater. (OK, I did not actually try the repeater). I was more hoping there was some method that was not immediately obvious, such as a requirement that it be a particular framing block that needs to be powered. Or something.
Or perhaps it just doesn't respond to redstone at all, and I'll just have to cope.
- When jail doors are placed between iron bars, the door's block will center, but not it's model (Do note this only occurs when facing west or east). As seen here:

It's currently not possible. I plan to allow redstone interactions later, but it will come with a caveat. Concretly, even if the doors looks big, internally, it only occupies the bottom center space (where you place it). So a lever placed on the side wouldn't be able to open it anyway.

Love the idea of the high-tech doors. Though I'd like to see a similar door that's 2x2. If you've ever played the game Aliens vs Predator 2 by Fox Interactive and Sierra, surely you've seen the doors seen in the hallways during the marine and predator missions. I'd love to see those hi-tech doors in my AVP base if the AVP mod updates to 1.10.2.

I don't see it, but you're free to make me a model

Must it be a Json Model? I prefer using Techne, though 1.8+ can't use Techne due to having to use the danged Json system.
Also, I found a good reference image, since I'm not the best at making Json models. Take a good look at the door behind the marine there (minus the tiny monitor, of course).

Eww, no, not JSON ><. I'd need a OBJ model, but that requires the use of something like Blender. Also, the image doesn't really show the animation for the door

As for the animation, it's much like the laboratory door - just slides upward. That's all.
Oh, here's a short bit of animation of the door (0:14 to 0:16):
But, now I have some strange problème, but realy important;
All the Vanilla Doors when I install 2 side by side, can open, just is impossible to close... The Doors always stay open, even if I click on it to close...
Other somewhat annoying bug, all vanilla doors have a Missing texture icon in the inventory.
For Information, the versions of the things:
Forge Server : 1.10.2-12.18.2.2124-universal
Forge Client : 1.10.2-12.18.2.2124-universal
OS: Win 10 64bit, (Both, client and server run for now on the same computer...)
For the first point, try shift-right-click to close the door. That works for me (although it took me a little bit to find out how to do it).
For the second point, do you have BaseMetals installed? That mod uses 3-D inventory models, and you have to turn on MalisisDoors' use 3-D inventory models config option to get it to show the doors with it installed.

OOOOOOHHHHHH. I did not know about that.
Thanks for the tip. Trying that now...
YES!!! That resolves the missing door textures in inventory. Thank you for pointing that out!

I haven't had any issues closing doors. I didn't know about the 3D models option in Malisis Doors, and enabling that setting solves the problem of vanilla doors having no texture in inventory when using Malisis Doors.

That should be only if Base Metals is installed, as I read above.

you need MaslisisCore
10/10 mod
Is there, perchance, a way to open & close the new High-Tech doors via redstone? High-tech and manual just seems so contradictory!
Malisis Blocks Player Sensor. There you go.
