I've always loved Malisis Doors since I first discovered it, but I think it has moved up to my favorite decoration mod after I use it to make a vanishing bridge. Thanks for such an awesome mod!
Here is the video where I try to explain how the vanishing frames work and build the bridge, hope you enjoy.
Can you please add a feature where you can make a door which can only be opened when powered by redstone, NOT where redstone opens the door automatically, but powering the door will allow it to be opened with a right click.

It would be nice to have the doors with security codes only breakable by the player that placed them (and OPs of course).
Adding to the idea from FedUpWithCrashes, having the feature that a door could not be open or broken while being powered by redstone (a maglock so to speak) would also be super awesome.

That would be awesome. Also, maybe have an addon that worked with Galacticraft: Since normal doors don't seal in rooms, maybe a special airlock door that is made with compressed steel plates and some form of sealant?

I meant it the other way around, I only wanted players to be able to open it when it's powered, but since you mentioned it, both options should be available.

I must admit, that's a cool bridge. You must have a pretty solid server to handle all those TileEntities...
Also, yes, the Diamond Vanishing Block interface is bugged, but suprisingly, nobody ever reported it. I just found out myself because I had the bug too when updating to 1.8. I'll have it fix for the next update.
If you use animated JSon files, then the rusty hatch could make you some problems
Anyways,this is a cool mod
There is no way in hell I'll touch those JSON
That's part why it takes that long to update : I had to rebuild the entire rendering system for my needs. The downside, my block models won't be customisable with ResourcePacks (textures will still be of course), but I assumed it didn't really matter anyway.

Huh. I didn't know you even could create an unnamed world. It's not something I'd have ever thought to test. Why would someone do that? It must cause all kinds of problems.

Actually, I was the one creating a world without a name.
For Vanishing Blocks, I make temporary fake worlds so that when a copied block is placed and rendered, it behaves like neighbors are not Vanishing Blocks but the copies inside them.
That's why you can have fences that connect when inside the Vanishing Blocks, or that stairs can have the right shapes.
Anyway, I wasn't giving a name, Vanilla never cared, but Cauldron expected one, so it was crashing.
Is there any way to set the options on a large connected area of diamond vanishing blocks all at the same time, or does it always have to be done block by block?

Currently there is nothing for that. I tried to think of a way to allow easier modification for them, but I didn't find one yet.

In that case, I have a suggestion to offer:
Create a handheld tool. Set one frame's properties and "cover" block, then right-click that frame with the tool. (Right-click is a "copy" operation.) Then start left-clicking other frames, which "pastes" the settings from the frame you copied, including inserting the chosen cover block from a stack in your inventory, if present. If you run out of cover blocks, further paste operations with the same cover block fail until you refill. It should probably also be able to replace an existing-but-different cover block, putting the old block into your inventory if space is available, and otherwise dropping it.
Still working on it...

Some how optifine is crashing with this, is there some kind of work around?
I am using version 1.10 of malisis doors and i would really like it to work in the pack i am working on, it wouldn't be the same without it.

when is 1.8 coming around?
When life gives you nothing punch a tree!
I occasionally crash when I right-click on doors.

I also have encountered this error.
I also get this crash from villagers attempting to open a door (presumably):

What can I do if I only want the animations and not the new doors and items?

----------Bro That is One AWESOME Mod You Got There!!----------
I would need to see the crash log to be sure about what happens.

There is nothing much you can do beside not use the doors and items you don't want.
That may be worth considering
