Man, I did password recovery on my old minecraftforum account just to tell you how happy I am that you updated this mod. (why are comments disabled on curse? :P)
Repose (with the default settings) is really how minecraft should always have been. It makes a lot of situations more interesting, and shuts down a lot of really cheesy tricks. Some of my players complain endlessly, but that's ok. They're wrong. Repose will be a staple of all my modpacks forever as long as you keep updating it. It's one of those mods that's a simple twist on the game but really breathes new life into it.

Thanks a lot capitalthree! That's great to hear. Repose doesn't get nearly as much feedback as my other mod Streams so it's harder to gauge interest. Comments like yours are great motivation to keep the mod up-to-date. :-)
There's a new version out: Repose 1.12-1.5.1, that fixes issues with concrete powder not turning into concrete, and removes unwanted spreading behavior with non-soil falling blocks such as Rustic chandeliers. Please give it a try!
Hello! I would like to ask a favor to any Repose player or the author himself [herself? I don't know...]. I used to play with enviromine back with 1.7.10. Now I'm playing with 1.12.2, but Tough as Nails [Enviromine-like mod] doesn't add physics [or at least I can't find the settings in the config file]. Thus, I want to modify Repose so it can behave like Enviromine in some way [like, every block falls fall except for Bedrock, Enderstone and Glowstone]. Yet, I can't figure out how to modify the config file of Repose. Can someone help me? Can someone send me a config file with the modifications so all the blocks fall except for those three mentioned before? Please! Help me
Weird kinda compatibility issue to report with PrimalCore. Mud blocks act strangely when categorized as granular for the purposes of imposing physics. When they fall onto another mud block they break 100% of the time rather than stack or pile up. Movement over mud slopes is also kinda weird - You sort of slip back occasionally which I thought was cool and intentional at first but there's also an issue where if you fall in a little 1x1x1 water puddle surrounded by mud it's impossible to jump out.
Also I wanted to make all grass-type blocks non-physics enabled so my world stops lagging to heck and generating full of "holes" but still have physics enabled for dirt. Problem is podzol is a variant of dirt so all my Taiga biomes are still laggy and full of holes. Any way to specify block variants in the config?
Hi players, please note that Farseek mods such as Repose may cause a crash on Forge versions 1.12.2-14.23.2.2652 and later. I will release a fix in the next few days, meanwhile please use Forge 2651 or earlier. You can track the issue here. Thanks!
My current modlist is short, but repose is not working at all.
It is enabled for both, and all the config stuff and files are present, but no blocks are falling and I cannot run up blocks.
These same mods worked in version 1.10.2
Not sure what changed...
Your Repose config might need to be reset to account for changes in modded blocks. Can you try going to your Minecraft directory, subdir "config", then deleting or renaming the repose.properties files and then restarting?
The way that rocky terrain feels so much more difficult with this adds a ton of immersion for me.
Thanks Hexidecimark! The new version for 1.15+ is coming along nicely and will have new optional features for even more immersion. For example "anchoring" rules for blocks requiring them to have a neighbor of the same material. This means if building a bridge or ceiling beam for example, the first block has to rest upon the dirt ground or stone wall instead of sticking out horizontally from it, or else it collapses. This is of course optional and would only appeal to certain players seeking more realism, but I'm definitely one of them. :-)

Thanks for reporting this - I'll look into this when I'm back from vacation. Please follow the GitHub issue for updates.

Would you consider the idea of rendering the slopes as a config or addon? like the old evil minecraft mod did (not evilcraft)

The version I’m playing is 1.7.10 [I know it’s old, but I still love it!][/p]
* I tried to set the physic options to false…but still, it doesn’t seem to work :/[/p]
Minecraft Fan! And modder wanna be!
Do you think you could please add a reverse toggle to make it whitelist the granular blocks and these are the ones exempt from gravity?!

I noticed that opening minecraft with both Repose and Cubic Chunks crashes on start up.
If there is anything on your end that you can do to help make it compatable I'd be deeply grateful.
Cubic Chunks is a mod that eliminates the y limits in minecraft by making chunks cubic (16x16x16)
Important mods/versions used:
CubicChunks-1.12.2-0.0.824.0-SNAPSHOT-all
malisiscore-1.12.2-6.3.2

Farseek-1.12-2.2.4

My mods:
I copied my repose.config to desktop, deleted the config entirely from the directory, and started the server. This fixed it.
Then I shut it down and manually updated the variables.
Thanks!
Can i use it to my modpack?
