Mainly bugfixes. Nothing much planned at the moment. My aunt died last month and I've been very busy with family stuff along with two jobs and school, so I haven't had much time to mod. >.<
Forbidden Magic v0.571 is now uploaded to CurseForge and should be approved soon.

- Bugfix: Axe of the Skulltaker correctly drops player heads.
- Bugfix: Blood Staff no longer nukes your inventory if you don't have LP
- Bugfix: Eldritch Blood Orb damage properly syncs
- Bugfix: Eldritch Blood Orb now updates LP max, sort of
- Bugfix: Tainthistle no longer decays.
- Change: LP costs for Blood Wand/Staff are cut in half
- Change: Mana costs for Livingwood/Dreamwood Wand/Staff are slightly lower
- Change: Conversion costs for LP or Mana can now be changed in the configs
- Change: Consuming enchant now works on oredict'ed cobblestone. New garbage OreDict types can be added to the config.
- Addition: Crystal Scribing Tools have a new use when Thaumcraft research is set to "Easy"
Hm, what about inversing the process, aka something to get rid of excess research points? I mean, after some point you have hundreds of those and no more research to put them into.
Maybe some kind of a "knowledge distillery", where you put in empty bottles, and it drains you of random research aspects and creates a bottle o' enchanting?

Are sin crystal clusters ever going to be a thing? PErhaps with particle effects appropriate to the associated sin, such as fiery ones for Wrath, or shiny gold ones for Lucrum?

Are sin crystal clusters ever going to be a thing? PErhaps with particle effects appropriate to the associated sin, such as fiery ones for Wrath, or shiny gold ones for Lucrum?
But what would they do, except look pretty? Hmm I read in the plans.txt that demon summoning is planned, these crystal clusters might then be used for the summoning rituals. Like, draw a circle with redstone dust, place some candles around it, place wrath clusters inside, boom, a wild demon appears.
Here's a suggestion for you: the Vis Shard focus from TC5. It uses a targeting similar to Nine Hells, but fires a purple projectile similar to wisps, that move towards the target in bursts of motion, then dive at them for a single attack.

The Aura stuff, the new taint mechanics, and probably the shard crystals, likely would require an overhaul and as such wouldn't be feasible.

Sideways Levitators would most likely work, as Thaumic Bases had them (and, in fact, removed them when it updated to 1.8). Only difference Thaumic Bases had was attracting rather than repelling levitators.

hey.
first thanks for this mod is really fantastic
i noticed chameleon pickaxe is unbreakable when mining. i think you might have done a booboo making all chameleon tools take damage only if used as weapons rather than tools. i haven't tested the other ones just the pickaxe. seems it behaves like ichor is indestructible only when mining.
also the voidtouched option does not show up in osmotic enchanter on chameleon sword and it doesn't say this enchantment does not work on sword. i think is just an omission. because the mod clearly has an option to make it compatible with thaumic tinkeker.
Actually Warp Theory makes Warped Wither spawns a thing.

This is a very good addon, but when i look up '@forbidden magic' in NEI i can't find the botania flowers
