First of all I want to say, this is a great mod. I love the thaumcraft botania integration!

I have a question though. Is it intended that the fiery core and fortune enchantments are mutually exclusive? This seems weird since pickaxe of the core can have the fortune enchant on it. Not being able to apply both of those enchantments at the same time makes the chameleon pickaxe kinda useless. Either you can't use it to mine metals, since you won't get clusters or you can't use it to mine gems, since you will get less.

I think you are supposed to switch to fiery core for metals and to fortune for everything else. I always put Fortune on blue, Firey Core on red and Silk Touch on yellow. The firey core seems to be so much anti-fortune, though, that even things like the Ring of the Covetous Coin for Witching Gadgets (which just gives you Fortune II to everything) completely disable it's effect.

When i go to start the arcane infusion for the pickaxe of distortion, it tries to make a pickaxe of the core (as evidenced by the altar requesting ignis, perfodio and sensus essentia). Am I doing something wrong? I'm running Resonant Rise 3, by the way. Images below.

Yes, it is supposed to have been fixed in 0.575. From what I see in your screenshot, you don't have the newest version. There the diamond has been replaced with amber in the recipe.

So if I understand correctly, the infusion just won't work in this version?

Also, you can always use minetweaker/modtweaker to do things. I had a replacement recipe for the pickaxe and the shovel, but it was no longer necessary, so I removed it again.

I really hope this mod makes an interaction with witchery, especially now witch witchery's new werewolf/vampire mechanics. Great mod nonetheless.

Problem is, first and foremost, there's no API for Witchery. This has been an issue ever since Witchery came out, and has been why there's no interaction at all between it and, well, pretty much any other mods other than the select few that Emoniph selected to interact with. Secondly, Emoniph has been hard at work making Intangible to make sure what from Witchery can be updated to newer versions of Minecraft and what needs to be left behind. This basically means no API for 1.7.10 when that happens. And, sadly, the worst part is that Emoniph seems to have fallen off the face of the earth and hasn't been seen on the forums in quite some time. I believe he also hasn't been seen on his IRC channel either, which is causing quite a panic on his mod threads at times.

Just thought you should know.

Take a closer look next time. Try searching for terms like duplicate or conflict.

Suggestion/Request: A config option to enable the old spreading behavior of the umbral rose, so that they also generate from smaller ones. Roses shall reign supreme once more!

Are there any plans to make this or Schools of Magic into an add-on for Pengu's Lost Thaumaturgy? Apengu has said that he already has an API and will be adding more. Lost Thaumaturgy brings most of what made Thaumcraft 2 great into 1.11.2+.

Hello! I'm having a problem in 0.575 inside Infinity Evolved. Tainted Planks, Tainted Wood, Tainted Stone, and Tainted Stone Bricks aren't stopping the spread of Fibrous Taint and are getting overgrown like any other block. From the Thaumonomicon entries, I don't think this is how they're supposed to work. Is there any fix? I couldn't find anything about any of the blocks in the Forbidden Magic config. Thank you!

Whenever I try to use the Chameleon tools, like read the thaumonomicon, look it up, make it, or even put my cursor on it, the game crashes saying something about ticking entities. Why is that?

Thanks for the reply. Also, my friend told me that he saw infinity blocks spawning in the world. Does this really happen or is he lying?
