Will you add a feature that when you record you can and a time limit on how long you want to record because i have i time set up for one min. I try to count one min and always mess up. It is suppose to be someone working in an office and non stop working. Will you?
Aye mate, have you fixed that little timing problem with Minema?
I'm with an very complex project that involves complex camera movements that cannot be done with Camera Studio.

Ok, I've identified the conflict. It would seem that when this mod is used with the mod Enviromine, player skins do not work. I don't know if there's anything you can do about it, I just thought you should know.
Also, if you save and quit while a mocap is playing, upon reloading the actor will still be there, the skin will be different, and it will just stand there until you kill it.

Brill, thanks! - that mod probably overwrites my skin code but if I have a chance to try them together will take a look
Yep, the save/quit'ing thing could probably be sorted, not got around to it

It's not really a little problem, it's a fundamental difference in how they work together.. if I get chance with my work commitments, I will try Minema out because it would be cool to sync the timing.
Would be nice export the recorded data to an 3D animation software like Blender or C4D. For people who don't know how to animate.
Sorry didn't catch up with your tweets if that was you.. it depends how complicated the C4D motion import is XD
The most mocap can export in terms of motion data is:
time offset, x, z, y, rotation, head angle

Other things I've noticed:
The animation's timer seems to keep going when the game is paused, actors will jump to where they would be had the game not been paused.
The Actors do not trigger pressure plates. Not even wooden ones.
Will it be able to record pushing a button or flipping a lever in the future?
Is there any chance of getting an "Opacity" option when playing a mocap file? To make the actor Ghostly?

The rest of what you see, the client generates.
I even got an friend to look at the mod source code and get me an output but the data was all over the place, I think the only thing right was the timing.
The "player" (on this case was an camera) kept going up and down and rotating like crazy... Before that I spent a lot of time trying to convert the data into C4D python script but it never had the right rotation... You might ask why I need the data, I explain, I'm pretty advanced on VFX techniques BUT match the camera movement is an too hard and time consuming. For example, I already spent 6 hours just trying to match the camera of an 26s video.

New suggestion:
flag at the end of the /mocap-play command that makes the actor invulnerable if set true.
(Entity NBT Tag: Invulnerable
type: Byte
Entities with this tag set to 1 cannot be damaged by any means.)
Btw, to clarify the Enviromine issue: it's only player skins that aren't working when it's installed. Skindex Skins still work fine.

First off, thanks for a great mod it is very cool.
Second, is there a way to make the EntityName not be visible when you hit F1 button that disables the hud and playernames?

Wth? That sounds really odd.. trying to play an old/corrupt mocap or something?

Hmm, will have a look how the Player entity does it, I'd like it to be the same aye

in the current version the skindex support is gone...
Are you sure? it's working for me.
for example, 2014101219285384813 is this guy:
