Lithial, I know you gave up on Counter-parry a while ago, but I want to point out that Battlesigns from Tinker's Construct do it pretty well, maybe you could contact Boni and ask him how it works there?
Hey when I load this mod and spawn into my world everything is basically fine (good work), but when I try to hit something or shoot the bow it thinks I'm still at the place I've spawned and its the same for buttons, chests, breaking blocks, and things like that. What I'm saying is I can only walk around.
P.S I think most of the armor enchants work, so nice job.
Hey all! So maybe this is a stupid question, feel free to point and laugh all you want, but for the stupid people out there (such as myself), is there a way to combine More Enchantments armor enchantments and protection 1-4? I've tried Swiftness, High Jump, Cloud, I can't remember the knockback resistance one but I tried it, Horticulture, Night Vision, and Anti-Venom. Each time the message is the same: [Enchantment] cannot be combined with Protection IV.
So yeah, if anyone feels like taking the time to answer this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Depends on the mod version you're using. Check the config file to see if there's a section for compatibilities, and edit that. Keep in mind it very well might break the game and cause crashes, depending on the version.
Ok, I've been trying to post something about this for a while now, so sorry if all 3 of the messages eventually all show up with the same info, but first of all, thanks for the tip, it looks like I'm running version 1.3.2.1. I found the config file you mentioned, do you know how to adjust it properly?

I'm afraid I have not used that version, but look for a section in that file that says something like "compatibilities" or "incompatibilities" and use the id numbers that each enchantment is assigned to set what enchantments are compatible with what. Keep in mind this is just how I'd assume it would work, I have not actually seen the file so its possible none of what I'm saying will be any help.
I just don't want to start screwing with it until I'm at least 90% sure it won't break everything. Very little of the file makes sense to me, any ideas?
You know, while I'm at it, there are a few questions I have about the enchantments:
1. Anyone able to explain exactly how the Wither enchantments work?
2. What is the Lethargy enchantment?
3. Is there a way to adjust the Disarm max level? It's not in the config.
4. How badly will it screw up the game if I adjust the Greenwood delay? It's super slow right now, doesn't even always do it. Any tips?
5. It doesn't seem like regeneration works, and I checked to make sure it was turned on, anyone else have this problem?
I've looked around for a reasonable extent of time for answers, but I haven't come up with anything. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
1. Wither Aspect inflicts Withering equal to the level of the enchantment, rather than higher leveled enchantments inflicting it for longer periods. For example, Wither Aspect II will inflict Withering II on a target. Wither Arrow, on the other hand, increases duration with higher levels. I believe Wither Arrow II doubles the duration.
2. Lethargy inflicts Slowness on targets, increasing the duration of the debuff with higher levels of enchantment.
3. As far as I know, no enchantments have max level options in the config. If that's a new thing for other enchantments, then I'd be willing to guess it's either there and you're somehow missing it, or it's a bug that Lithial wasn't aware of.
4. Er...what does Greenwood do again?
5. Not sure if it's still the same, but I found out during my last play session with it (quite some time ago) that it works by crouching. Might wanna try that, if you haven't.
Hey, thanks for the help! In answer to numbers 3-5:
If I knew how to post it without it getting removed, I would show you the max level adjustment file (Application Support;minecraft;config;MoreEnchantments;Core.cfg), but I can't seem to figure out how. I've already given Leech a max of 3, and it works perfectly. I can't however find the settings for disarm (they're listed alphabetically, there's only one list, and I spent a good 5-10 minutes searching through it). A 5% chance is a little wimpy in my opinion (when I play by myself, I like to cheat, don't judge).
Greenwood is a repairing enchantment, it repairs all items enchanted with it by one durability point every 15 seconds, or at least it's supposed to. It's really finicky.
Sorry for the miscommunication, I meant that when I try to enchant a chest plate with regeneration it says that regeneration isn't a valid number. I've tried several times, and I'm a pretty good speller, not to mention I looked up the spelling just to make sure, and it still doesn't work. Any thoughts?

Adjusting greenwood's delay probably wouldn't screw up anything, unless you make it ridiculously fast. By what manner are you trying to enchant the chestplate? Vanilla enchantment table? NEI? Commands?
Yeah, I'm using commands, I don't have the patience to use an enchantment table. I can't figure out how to use NEI enchanting, so I can't do that But all the other enchantments work (I think, I haven't tried the tool ones).
Success!!! Sorry if it's a little hard to read, I wasn't sure how else to post it. Anyways, that's the first page of about 5, and the rest of them look nearly identical. So now any ideas about how to adjust it the right way?

That's why. You have to use the enchantment ID number for the /enchant command, not the name.

Suggestion: an enchantment for headgear that remove flame animation(if fire resistant) and enhance vision(not with night-vision) in lava and NETHER-types biome(for mod compatibility), but reduce vision in water and other type
if possible, for MC1.7.10

If you can make use of [ spoiler ] when you post crashLog, use fileHosting.
If you can't, don't post the damn km-long thing.
It is REALLY annoying for everybody.

That seems kind of pointless as an enchantment. Better done as a basic mod of its own, really.

I ran it with Too Many Items and that was it
I'm going to be be using this mod in my modpack!
