Ok, I got another idea!
I made it more swampish themed too.
The Behemoth Wight
He's might be a mini boss actually cause he has special attacks.
The Behemoth Wight is twice as tall and big as the player.
There are actually more than 1 Behemoth Wights as they were all once the most trusted followers of Revil O' Elcanrab.
Stage 1
First you're just walking in the Betweenlands when you see some mist/fog in front of you. The mist/fog is very thick so you can't see through it. Now this is the part you can't escape the mist/fog will come so fast (yet slow from your view) that your stuck in a misty area, unable to see anything but the mist and the floor.
Then vines with claws start to shoot out of the mist and attack you, you're only chance of survival is dodging them and attacking the vines.
Then when the vines are gone, wight versions of you(the player, they are basically wights with the player's face) will come out of the mist(summoned by the behemoth wight) and attack you.
After killing all of them, the mist starts to become visible(a little) and you look around for the behemoth wight and attack it. By doing that the mist disappears and the behemoth wight goes into stage 2.
Stage 2
Then 3 things start to happen at the same time continuously.
Rotten fruit start falling from the ceiling and onto the floor. If you are able to destroy them(with one hit) before the thing reaches the ground, the fruit will be destroyed however the fruit drops all over the place near you so some will escape your attacks. Those that escaped will drop on to the floor and quickly grow into a fruit minion which shoot poisonous seeds at you.
Vines with claws will also quickly shoot out from the ground near you(so you'll only get hurt by them if you're moving and unlucky). If you stay still they won't shoot out below you, just near you.
The Behemoth Wight however will start throwing dark crystals (not dark destroyers XD) at you. The dark crystals upon contact with a block will act like a small black hole and suck things near it in a 3x3x3 radius. If the dark crystal hits you, you'll get blindness.
The Behemoth Wight also will teleport to you occasionally and smash the floor (like the hulk) which will make an explosion (it destroys blocks and hurts you but not itself) and send you flying (not to far and high though).
Stage 3
When the Behemoth Wight's health is low the rotten bombs and vines with claws will stop appearing, but he will then start using his final and powerful attacks (not using his dark crystals and teleport attacks anymore).
First of his abilities is that he gets really fast and hard to attack. He will also start jumping towards you and melee punching (fast) you with his four hands.
If there is water nearby, blue particle effects start appearing out of it and track it down to you, which cause a little damage. The only way to get rid of the water particle effects is to destroy the Behemoth Wight.
If there are trees or tree pillars nearby, green particle effects will come out of the trees and track it down to the Behemoth Wight which heals it slowly. The only way to get rid of the green particle effects is by destroying the Behemoth Wight.
He lastly can also stay still at a certain spot and charge up a dark energy ball and shoot towards you. The dark energy balls cause poison and darkness.
When his health runs out he'll explode (no damage to player and blocks) and your computer screen will get very bright (cause of the explosion). After then when the brightness is gone you'll find a petrified form of the Behemoth Wight(as if Medusa looked at him) which you can break and use as a statue.
A staff will also ascend from the sky above the statue. The staff can be used to summon vines from the floor or walls to attack enemies.
It can also be used by going near trees or tree pillars while holding the staff in your hand, which will heal the player.
He could also drop more but for now I ran out of ideas XD
Tell me what you think
Quick, somebody start a discussion so we can work at 3000 posts.
Um... Um...
So howabout those villages, will you be able to make houses to expand it like the vanilla villages? More tribespeople, more protection, more elders (side quests :o), more fun (more work). Ya'know?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
One day I'll make a new texture pack. One day.
I'm an amateur texture designer, skinner, and over all graphic design artist. Learning the trade, I'm getting to be okay.

Not a bad question at all.
I'd like to know if you could expand a tribe as well. I'm sure somewhere I read that there is only one village Elder per tribe. If that is the case, if the Elder dies, are you out of luck? lol. I know that they'll be few and far between.
We have only done the Prime Wight. We will do 3 more mini bosses in the future. Also, we are still updating to 1.5.
I'm so glad you want to add these mini-bosses :D, they will be fun to fight, and they will be an enjoyable distraction from the Prime Wight. I'm sure you're going to have a hard time updating to 1.5, but I have complete confidence that you will pull out quickly, and efficiently.
What are the Biomes you are going to add? I assumed that The Betweenlands would be just one HUGE swamp. Can you please tell me any form of Biome, I'm really curious.
P.S. We are closing to 3000 post :P. Congratulations, to you and your team, for getting so many posts for a WIP mod...
I'll just give you guys the to-do list so you know whats going on.
Fix the mod for the 1.5 update (we arent sure how long this will take, but once its out of the way, the rest can be done easily).
Finish moss gen so it gens only on weedwood logs, betweenstone and cragrock, and in patches instead of on its own. It also needs to be able to go on the side of things too.
Water Flowers should gen in groups again.
The render bug for Mire Coral and Water Flower Stalk needs fixing.
Rubber Trees need to be renamed to Sap Trees, and when cut down they drop 1-3 Sap Balls. They should be a bit less common, and have a taller trunk.
New Weedwood tree, where it gens with tough bark on the outside and soft wood in the middle (we may leave this out if it takes too long).
Any other tweaks.
We will then do the giveaway. After that... Operation Wight Lightning! We will need to do...
*GASP*
I made it more swampish themed too.
