Hey, do you take mob and or item ideas? I had an idea that you could make something like a Weedwood Fishing Pole, crafting it with Weedwood Sticks and Vines. Instead of catching fish like in the Overworld, you could catch something like a crayfish, or maybe a safer way to get angler meat.
This looks amazing!! So cool~ but seriously this is such a giant task and while I feel sorry for how busy you're gunna be, I wanna let 'cha know that I'll cheer ya on and support this mod ^-^

well...no more mobs, what about part of the wasteland generating swamphouses? and villagers that are coded specifically to generate in those houses that are simply retextured without the testificate nose and look human, but with tattered clothing?
I forgot, will this mod be multiplayer at some point? Also you should make an item called the Wight cloak. it could be a rare drop and would make you undetectable by Wights. That way it's less of a pain to explore. But you would have to kill a Wight to obtain it.
This story is based on the Aether II backstory. Please read it before reading this. I decided to write a backstory for the End too.
The Betweenlands
A long time ago, before the great war, energy from both the Nether and the Aether were able to leak out into the overworld, where it slowly purified from it's rough, green color to a powerful purple color. The energy slowly drifted away from the Overworld, leaving behind nothing but Endermen.
The energy exploded far out in the Nexus, where it created a whole new world, where a new powerful dragon thrived. It's power had a great impact on the Aether: the Aether was almost destroyed! Luckily, some species survived, which are slowly building up the Aether, although it will never be the same.
Let's get to the story of the Betweenlands: these lands existed in the very beginning, but were yet to be discovered then. It was far away from the Aether, the Overworld and the Nether, but it's presence was still notable. This big, unstable world slowly evolved, and more complex creatures appeared. The world slowly became more stable.
The world was discovered when the Wights moved from the Nether to the Betweenlands, by a powerful warrior named MrCompost. He found a way to travel to this new realm, and found a hostile place with many new, undiscovered things. He went back, telling people about this awesome place.
He brought a fellowship together to explore this new, vast world. They slowly started to chart this weird, hostile world. Another strong Minecraftian, named Fish2, was able to take almost all fauna from the Betweenlands to the Overworld for further testing. While kiko0804 started to research the various new blocks, calebmanley explored the world further. The world became well-known by various Minecraftians, due to this awesome team.
A new group of investigators rised, a team of Testers, who would explore the world further to find instabilities in this realm, when the world was ready. New things were discovered, even a new realm, with a powerful monster which could easily match the power of the Enderdragon.
This isn't the end of the Betweenlands story: this saga will continue for many new eras. Wait and see, fellow Minecraftians!

Thanks a lot! I may make this mod sometime. It will add things like Trackers which bleep faster when near a ghost, a Soundwave Detector which listens in on the ghosts (trust, me the sobbing of the girl above the hiss of static is creepy as hell) and an Analyzer which tells you about various specimens left behind by ghosts such as ectoplasm, poison or even a teddy bear. There will also be rare events such as your door randomly opening, footsteps when nothing is there and and blood smeared up your walls!
That sounds pretty cool... Is there a type of 'evil' ghost? Like the ghost of a murderer that could kill you or something? That would make it three times as scary, if you could get killed by a ghost.
How is this not considered "popular" yet?! This mod looks amazing, I would be downloading it right now... if I could .
