It seems that progress is being made.
I really want to do a LP with this mod (and a few others, probably), but that requires A. it to be released, and B. for me to have proper gear (mic/better comp./etc.) to do so
I'm not sure if you are still looking for members, if you aren't, completely disregard this next bit:
I can sprite items! If you want I can post examples. If this isn't what you are looking for, that is completely understandable.
I also would enjoy to come up with concepts. If I can't do items, I'd still like to do this, but I could do both. Whatever you need.
I can do textures but not nearly as good as my sprites.
Looks awesome! Might get at making a 128x texture pack for this too, if I feel like it. Love how well this was thought out, though one miniscule detail bugs me. The mob torch. o.o No glow...I think personally that a dim, flickering purple glow between light-levels 0-3 would be kinda cool. **needs more animations!** <--ignore silliness, but do think about the flickering light.

People could still get a head start on the items and blocks, even if the mob texture maps are unavailable.

Nothing. It can't be done.
It's already inherently compatible because it doesn't edit any base classes ^^ (At least I'm pretty sure that's still a thing >_>)
I doubt they'll integrate it, because it is a completely different mod, to be fair.
