Sounds interesting. If I remember correctly we had a similar idea a while ago.
That would be epic if you added it, my only suggestion would be a config option to either allow or disallow multiple players from having Prime Wight status simultaneously. By default only one player could have the status at a time, but if that player were ever defeated they'd drop the heart needed for the other player to get the power. But make it so that only being killed by a player makes you lose Prime Wight status/drop the heart, that way the heart doesn't get burned up the first time you fall into lava.

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.

I've been having a huge problem with this mod. When I enter the new dimension, I spawn in a featureless endless ocean with the same biomes as the overworld, with tiny patches of swamp dirt being the only thing under the surface. Notably, this only happens with worlds with BOP biomes, worlds without them have The Betweenlands spawn normally. I've triple checked, and there don't seem to be any conflicting biome ids. Is anyone else having this issue? What's the solution?

Turns out the problem has something to do with Geographicraft, when I turn that off Betweenlands generates normally. Looks like I'll have to find another way to use BOP + RWG, BiomeTweaker is such a pain to set up, I think I'll remove RWG for now.
I have a small suggestion for improving the Dark Druids: they are cool and all, but in my opinion they should have some other way to damage you apart from launching you in the air, maybe even something as simple as dealing 2-3 damage points to you during their levitation attack (this could be explained as their magic both pushing you upwards and squeezing/twisting your body).
I believe that my suggestion should be implemented not only because if you have any form of protection or immunity to falling damage (e.g. Feather Fall enchantment) fighting the Druids becomes ridiculously easy, but also because even without such protection their attacks are often ineffective, due to the fact that you frequently fall in water.
Thanks for reading all of this, let me know what you guys think.
I made the portal in creative and enter the betweenlands in creative, loaded in and managed to walk around in the portal tree, tried to break out of the tree, then got a lovely crash. I did try to reload to see if it was one off but the same thing happened except I couldn't move.
How many new features does the 1.10.2 version have over the 1.7.10 version at the moment? I finally started playing with 1.10.2 on a different mod profile (going to miss TF, Mystcraft, and MFR for now ) but I don't want to go to the BL until more or all of the new features are added, because what good is it if you have to run hundreds of blocks to get a new chunk to generate that *might* contain a new structure, biome, or whatever?
All structures from 1.7.10 are updated, the only things missing now are the things related to Herblore (the aspectrus seeds do already generate in loot, but they're not usable yet). We'll first update Herblore and then move on to new features.

RWG? Don't you mean RTG? You could use BiomeTweaker for that.
Yeah sorry, I was really tired when I wrote that. I'm hesitant to use BiomeTweaker, I had major issues with it in the past (it's why I switched to Geographicraft in the first place). But it's definitely something I'll keep in mind.
Hi Has anyone tried the 1.10.2 version with ForgeSponge? I get exceptions when using the portal tree to come back from one dimension to another (usually from betweenlands to overworld), which also seems to result in the generation of new portal tree at a random point around the druid circle. Not always, but we are up to five portal trees when we only created one! I will send the error to the sponge team also, but thought I would check here just in case anyone has experience of using this with sponge. We use the sponge plugin so we can have the server accessible from our Bungeecord hub.

Should the biome Marsh2 ever spawn in the ovewrworld? its flat green and there are rune things everywhere... did i do something wrong in the biome ids or is this a rare occurance
i have some idea for the Prime Wight,
maybe dont gain a op end-game armor, maybe be able to take his place in the betweenlands
and be a boss-like creature,
like it will be awsome too..
maybe for the ritual it just drops a heart, you will need to charge it in your body, but
you will need to do it fast enough, becouse in a moment the heart, will be death.
then, you will gain lots of abilities,or powers as the boss, but maybe one of the weakness will be that.
Its really hard to leave from the betweenlands as the Prime Wight, you are the stronger creature there, and the world is direcly linked to you.
Has anyone else had the problem where leeches attach to your feet and you can't get them off?
Yeah, I think its a known bug, err, leech.
My first mod =D

Yeah, that's due to a Vanilla bug

Welp seem I've found a lovely crash bug.

Well...you don't need to use it if you don't want. Plus, it's being reworked to be more user-friendly.
Support the Betweenlands today!
