I cant wait to see you in-game! What are you planned as? A boss?
I love the whole ancient scholar lore.
Hehe, thanks. Yes, I'm planned to be a boss of sorts, but specifics haven't been determined yet. At the moment though you can find a lore scrap written by me for my character with the scholar lore.
Hmm...they shouldn't despawn anyways since they're passive, but we'll investigate.
Well doesn't matter, it might had hid somewhere really good. So I manage to find another one of those toads and tamed it. Also I didn't realize how huge the toads were. I built a doorway of 3x3 and a fence gate, it couldn't get through. So anyway great job the update.
Sorry if this has been asked, but are the Shapeshifting brews implemented fully yet?

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.

I am looking for a coder to help me create a mod!
Busco a un codificador para ayudarme a crear un mod!
So it turn out that the Tamed Toads ARE despawning. Cause I had one locked up and after mining for a while, it was gone.
because this IS in it's alpha stage, you should probably keep a few handy mods with you like minetweaker to edit recipies or gamemode 1 at the ready, try naming the toads, you can even integrate a custom recipie consisting of betweenlands items.
i'm still suprised you are as far in-game as you are, i can barley get past making armor and going after the tar beast, while this mod may be fun, it's certainly time consuming and groggy to travel, but maybe that's just me and the curse of the mud fields on almost every single world i create.
After further investigation i have found out the biome that plauges me is is the second type of Marsh biome, they seem to be giant in size, and have a way-too-common spawn weight, so i end up spawning in one every time i start up a new world/portal.
Like i said before, a seed system would be amazing because we could share our betweenlands generation without affecting the overworld, which would be amazing because not many people run the exact same mod setup, i myself use a heavily modified version of biomes o plenty, with many different weights and spawn frequencies, and it would be difficult (if not impossible) to get a seed from any other terrain setup to work.

This generation is definitely not what usually happens. Have you tried changing some of the Betweenlands or BOP biome IDs? Betweenlands biome IDs are around the 50 range which is likely to conflict with BOP.

nah, it's definitely not that, before i started playing i edited the config file to make sure there were no conflicts, but even then i have a mod to auto-remedy this if i was not through enough.
This mod's potion making system is very unique, and has a lot of potential IMO. That being said, I was wondering about something. After the Shapeshifting brews are fully implemented, is there any plan to add anything more to Herblore? If so, what kinds of things do you have in mind? Thanks!

Try removing Biomes o' Plenty anyways and see if the problem persists.

I think we ought to finish off all the unfinished elixirs and such, and then work on other new features.
That's kind of what I meant. Oh well, any plans to work on those unfinished elixirs in the next update, or will I have to wait for several updates?

Better sooner than later though I suppose.
LOL, fair enough.

You can find all current pages on the wiki of content that is not yet in the mod by looking under the 'NYI' category.
Well that's good to know. But you guys should do a list of all the planned features and stuff for each month. Like make a list of all the things you guys want to add or fixed with in a month. Then at the end of the month, if there some stuff that didn't make the deadline, you move it to the next month as the first thing to do. Then after that add more planned features then just repeat the process. That way everyone can see what's going to get added each month rather then not knowing what might get added or fixed.

Are these NYI elements going to be added in periodic updates, or is the mod being overhauled for a more recent version of Minecraft?
I found an interesting crash when drinking a Heavyweight Draught potion. (Seems to be the only one I can see that does it so far? Not sure.)

I have other mods installed, as you can see in the log.
Any reasons why or if there's a fix?
Thanks in advanced.
