Unfortunately due to personal reasons I have left the BL modding team.
The team are a great bunch, very talented and will no doubt continue to produce amazing content for the mod to their very high existing standards.
The Betweenlands team (Angry Pixel) are looking for some new team members to help out with such an expansive mod. If you are an experienced modder and know your way around Git Hub please don't hesitate to contact Mr Compost by PM or on his twitter (links on the 1st page).
Thanks for your continued support for The Betweenlands mod.
Cheers,
Me.
As long as your ok man don't worry good luck in your future mate.
take your time, have a holiday, stay safe and all that stuff...
come back when you are refreshed and ready to go....go as in start...not go as in leave again....
I think you should make a dragon that spits acid which poisons you and give you negative resistance, and a spider that lives in treetops , can poison you, and can put it's egg inside you. Also, if you and your team ready to implement basilisk, you should make a system so the basilisk actually stoned you (not just slowness)
This looks like it might be a biome ID conflict. Make sure that there are no biome or dimension ID conflicts. You can also check what biome you're in by pressing F3, if it shows any biome that doesn't belong to the betweenlands dimension it's very likely a biome ID conflict.
Interesting, I thought forge crashed out warning you of biome id conflicts, I guess the times that has happened it must have been code in the mod that did that.
I mapped all of the biomes and dims, there are no conflicts.
EDIT: ok, after working on it all day I found it, The Dalek mod doesn't list their biome ids in their config file, I narrowed it down to that mod, and once I changed betweenlands I was able to get the two to work together.
I requested Dalek mod list their biomes in their config.
so the mod has gotten some updates lately, and i wanted to try it out again. this happened. am i missing something here??

so the mod has gotten some updates lately, and i wanted to try it out again. this happened. am i missing something here??
This has already been happening before those updates and IIRC it can be avoided by lowering the view distance. I'm not exactly sure what's causing it, but it looks like it's happening during the occlusion query due to an out of bounds exception. However, I have no idea why or how our mod would cause this error and that bug doesn't happen to me at all which makes it hard to identify. Could you try running MC without the mod (but still with forge installed) and see if it still happens?
Edit: Vadis365 just confirmed that it's happening even without our mod. Could be an error caused by Forge. Lowering the rendering distance apparently fixes the problem.
I seriously support this idea :3
does the portal need to be built in a swamp biome?
ok then for some reason it wont let me light the portal,is it still made of mossy cobble?

I think there may be a mod incompatibility in my pack, when I fly to betweenlands in my TARDIS, this is what I find-

Hello MrCompost, I remember seeing from somewhere you don't want this mod in modpacks due to instability, and i'm wondering if this is still the case.
Wow! This mod looks right up my alley! I'm gonna have to keep an eye on this one.
