I find it a bit jarring that if I am submerged in the seemingly green water of the Betweenlands, the usual blue overlay of Overworld water fills my screen. Would it be possible to make the overlay that displays when underwater greener when in the Betweenlands?
Find a Swamp biome, there you can find a Druïd Circle. Kill the Druïds to obtain all four talisman pieces. Put the pieces in the altar and watch as the pieces form the talisman.
Then you can click any sapling with the talisman to create the portal. Just make sure there is enough space around the sapling.
PS: Once you have all four different talisman pieces, you can destroy the Druïd spawner under the altar. That way the druïds wont spawn anymore while you use the altar

If it spawns AT ALL that is a good thing, it is needed to be able to spawn, just needing to clear out some water will not be an issue since everywhere else will need that.
I see from the @betweenlandsdev twitter that ancient temples have been added. Are they implemented in the current downloadable build? If so, where do they generate?

They are still being worked on, They have not been added into the official release just yet but hang in there!

The schedule does not contain all our ideas or planned features in detail, so dont worry if some things are not mentioned there. These are some basic lines we would like to follow so we dont get distracted all the time

really sorry if this was reported (probably has been) before, but looking through a silt glass pane renders most of the blocks invisible.
EDIT: blocks were just weedwood planks and a few mud bricks. same results in different areas. Seems really random, a lot like chunk loading errors.
Is this mod stable enough to be used in a modpack? Or, is its features worth it?
So a druid spawning structure is required to access the dimension, how does that structure spawn?
If there is no land above water for it to spawn... would it still spawn?
I've got a server that has water up to 128 in height everywhere.

it can only spawn on grass blocks, but it does spawn
Hmmm... does it only spawn during the initial generation of the world or does it also have a chance to spawn in later?
I can clear a few swamps of the water and let the grass grow on it if it has a chance for the druids to move in after the area has been generated.

Nah, that's not how generation works.
I suppose if you're desperate, you can go into creative mode and build the structure wherever you want it.
lol MIllenaire's generation works like that so I was hoping this did that too.
I would not be able to, the server is VERY against cheat modes.
