Hey everyone! It's really sad the mod has to be cancelled after all the work that went into it, but what can you do... But i'm not gonna let the spirit of the mod die, I'm going to release the whole soundtrack that I created for the mod as a download on Bandcamp. The reason why I didn't respond on this thread sooner was because I've been in the process of remastering the songs, and it's almost done so I'll be ready to release the album in a few days! Stay tuned, I hope ya'll will like it
Until then... the closest to fame I've ever been :') Thank you all of you!!!!
Thank you for all the work you spent on the awesome music!
I'll never forget the moment when I implemented the ambient music and first heard "The Exporer" in the actual dimension. It's still my favourite one
Hmm. Just remembered this mod from a long time ago when I was considering getting some new mods for a better adventuring experience. And it's... discontinued?

Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/

Rest In Between, Betweenlands. Here's to what could have been one of the greatest dimension mods ever to hit Minecraft!
I hope one day, some modders will come across this thread and say "oh hey, we could do that," and it will live to once again grace the rip between worlds.
Also, fun fact: I gave reputation to the OP when the alpha was announced. I never got my copy but I don't care about any alpha; I'm determined to see this mod in its finished state one day, with that atmosphere, the wonderful music, and fantastic mobs, textures, and other assorted [SUPER SECRET SNAIL DIMENSION]s.

Haha, I've always loved your music. Can't wait for the whole soundtrack as the download.

You know, the soundtrack started to take on a nostalgic feel to me a few months ago, after I heard the mod was going to be rewritten from scratch (basically, when I knew the nailing began on the coffin) I will always love the music you made for the Betweenlands! I still think Mojang should hire you as another music producer
On another note, though... Do tracks 9 and 10 exist? What did you have in mind for them? Just curious...
Is this mod ever going to be continued? I've looked forward to it to a long time, and I think the concept and all the work that's been put in to it is great. If nothing else, could we please have a download of the current unfinished build?

I just tried that version, since you chose to post it, and I am getting a number of NullPointerExceptions involving the Prime Wight entity or something.
Here's the download of the last working version I know. It runs on Minecraft 1.5.1 and uses Forge 7.7.2: Download
This is the latest working build I made. It still has a lot of bugs, but I fixed a few of the game breaking bugs that occurred instantly (for example when generating the world). I've tested this version, if it doesn't work for you then you're probably using a wrong version of Forge.
If only the Aether people would take this in. But I've become a bit disillusioned with the Aether. I hate the dungeon system and wish they would make it so we could toggle it off for singleplayer.
Hey I have been having trouble installing the mod can someone tell me exactly what to do? I have done everything correct but it either goes in to the game saying 3 mods loaded (the basic forge stuff) and I even tried some modpacks that are 1.5.1 and modified them so they only had your mod in it and still nothing pease help

One day...
Maybe I should try and get into modding...
Indeed it does. It did anyways. Sadly, this has been discontinued and the contents separated for other modders to use in their mods.

I don't think they should do that...
Aether alone takes too much time to update.
